wassup
http://www.bushin30seconds.org/ I actually found these pretty solid efforts, many with evidence backing them (like the "Bring Em On" one). Above all, I thought they were very creative and clever.

I dont want this to become a political debate, but perhaps you should go to that site and check out the links that are all about George Bush. They're actual facts, so it may change your mind about things.

Exuse me, it wasn't the president that destroyed it, It was 2 planes that hit 2 buildings of finacial buisness. That is where alot of jobs were lost. All the president is doing is ensuring it never happens again.

Well, if this thread becomes a political debate, I would just recommend all of u to discuss this in the Senate Chambers. Although I agree with the HobGloblin:)

To lose 2.5 million jobs, 49 other such attacks would have to occur. Not to mention that if you don't think the large bulk of those people have been transfered to a new building within 2 years, you frighten me. Undoubtably, the attacks hurt our economy. Yes, yes they did. Regardless of who was in office, the airlines still would have suffered greatly. But why are we fighting a hundred billion dollar war when our economy is in the pooper? You think a terror attack--that killed only 2,700ish people--would screw up the economy of the most powerful country in the world this bad? Not only the fact that those buildings don't account for the 2.5 million jobs lost, there's also the fact that it's been THREE years for those jobs to be regained, and instead we just keep losing jobs and losing money. So then we attacked Iraq and kicked Saddam Hussein's butt (who deserved it) because we could locate Bin Laden.... that made sense. And if you think the jobless rate is the result of 9/11, you're far more naive than you should be.

I don't know if you have some sort of vendetta against Bush or what, but you've been making some real borderline comments. I'd appreciate it if you'd stop. ET Warrior
I'm sorry, I'll try to leave my sense of humor back in the swamp from now on *puts on serious face* Perhaps vendetta isn't the word, perhaps it is. rccar328
I think Bush is 1 of the best presidents so far, so Im not even gonna look at those anti-bush stuff. You oughta watch it anyway...I totally agree with you about Bush, but these comercials are good for a laugh...Instead of "Bush in 30 seconds," they should be called "Moveon.org comedy bits" My favorite part is the text on their website: Watch the ad and join the nonpartisan MoveOn.org effort If Moveon.org is anything, it is NOT non-partisan. (Just another wheel in the liberal political agenda) Moveon.org cracks me up anyway...I mean, the website was originally organized to get the American people to MOVE ON from the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal...but they won't MOVE ON from "selected not elected," MOVE ON ALREADY!!!! Uh. A lot of jobs lost on the attacks of '01? Only 50,000 people worked in the Trade Centers. To lose 2.5 million jobs, 49 other such attacks would have to occur. Not to mention that if you don't think the large bulk of those people have been transfered to a new building within 2 years, you frighten me. Where do I start? First off, the fall of the economy (as has been proven now by several economic studies) began during the Clinton presidency. The Bush tax cuts have led to the current economic prosperity in America, and while the jobs numbers are still somewhat lagging, they are definitely on the upswing. The economic downturn resulting from the 9/11 attacks is not solely attributible to the number of lives lost, but is in fact a result of the loss of the jobs those people held, the economic infrastructure that existed in the World Trade Center, and the resulting unease about the future world political climate as America moved toward justice for those who perpetrated the attacks. The truth of the matter is that the economy was beginning to recover when the attacks occured, and this basically erased any progress that we had made. Americans need to jus mind our own business and work on improving AMERICA first before doing anything else... The President has stated quite clearly that we are fighting terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq in order to prevent having to fight similar battles in the streets of American cities. While it is true that America does have domestic problems, we cannot choose to focus on those problems exclusively: From the State of the Union: Twenty-eight months have passed since September 11th, 2001 -- over two years without an attack on American soil. And it is tempting to believe that the danger is behind us. That hope is understandable, comforting -- and false. Our President has done an amazing job of confronting domestic issues while simultaneously engaging in the War on Terrorism, and while he does not conform to a liberal agenda, just because you do not agree with his views does not mean that he is not doing all that he can to help our country. As for this remark... I just know that I personally find him to be among the least respectable presidents our country has ever had and would be quite glad to see him removed from his postion. I cannot think of anything President Bush has done to be among one of America's least respectable presidents. He has confronted one of of our world's great evils with great resolve and has come through victorious - and is resolved to follow through to the end. He has cut taxes, which stimulated the economy, and while this has increased our deficit, in the long run, tax cuts result in greater revenue, as savings to businesses result in more jobs and more taxpayers. I believe that George W. Bush is one of our nation's greatest presidents, and I will proudly vote for him.
