pink lightsaber
I would like to know what rating you think it will get. I think it will be teen but maybe mature.
Deeo
I don't think a Star Wars game has ever gotten any rating above Teen. Really because there is no blood or the such. No swearing, either. "Sith spit!"
StormHammer
I seriously doubt this title will get more than a 'Teen' rating. Jedi Academy got a '12+' rating in the UK, and you can quite easily turn on full dismemberment to hack everyone to pieces. I don't see Battlefront offering gratuitous 'carnage' or 'blood-letting'. joesdomain
I know most star wars games are usually rated "T" but I think to maximize profits and allow parents to buy for kids under 16 I think they will rate it "E".
StormHammer
It's now academic. The official site has been updated with an ESRB rating of Teen. You can check that here. I guess most of the predictions were right.
MasterN64
I can't see any LA game going above the rating of teen. they are not the ones who would make blood, guts and gore. Besides, in just about every game that there are mods for, there has to be a blood mod. Besides that, these games don't get too graphic.
Crazy_dog no.3
Though I like my games bloody and gory, I'm not sure this will get more than a Teen rating in the US. In Europe however (there is pretty much a single ratings system for the whole if Europe) it could get either a 12+(like Return of the King, Rise of Nations and KOTOR did) or a 16+ like the Battlefield games (which show only a bit of blood, so probably due to players using naughty words online). LukeKatarn
It will be rated T. WHO SAID IT WOULD BE RATED AA?
fuzzyfreaker
Not me... That would be wierd... Like playing the game and all the stormtroopers start stripping... and those Ewoks... Ugh! *runs toward bathroom holding mouth*
Whoopknacker
Mature definately, did you see all those explosions and stuff aw man. LucasArts like RockStar are notorious for making material that is only for 17+ group. Its gonna be just as bad as Doom3, watch out. Naw I know it will be T for teen, why do we even bother asking?
