That's true, but Deicide are, and always will be, mainstream death metal, just ask any metal-knower out there some non-Norwegian black metal bands; Behemoth, (some) Bathory, Dark Funeral, Ancient, Marduk, Opera IX, Venom, Celtic Frost... the list goes on...
