legameboy
Mike, if your good at cross country, you'd do fine on a football team. It isn't as tough as it looks...
KBell
Weight Training is what makes Football hard Le, so yes Football is a tough sport. And IG, how could you be dreading school. All you have to do is sit in bed and have your Mom spout off random WW2 facts.

IG-64
KBell, you seem to have this sick fantasy that i'm sitting in a hammock being served lemonade. You know nothing of homeschool, you have no right to talk like i'm this spoiled brat you take me to be. You hit a soft spot, and you ticked me off, like you most usually do, now just back down off the subject.

And from what I've heard from many people. It isn't as easy as you think. In fact (my way of thinking, so believe what you want), I would think IG and the rest that are home schooled would have it more difficult in certain situations. Like for example the parents expecting more from them. Pretty demanding on a kid if you ask me. So I would have to agree... How is that a sick fantasy exactly? Not saying homeschooled people are dumb, I just don't see why anyone would dread being taught in their own homes. It may not be as bad as having to deal with about 300 idiots, but it's still school, no matter where he is. And imagine the temptation of your computer being right there when you are trying to learn. In homeschool, your parents dont even help, all they do is plan out what your gonna work on yourself and go over your questions, which is also hard on their part. Not to mention I have a total of 2 friends in real life. But if you asked me, I would say i'd like to stay as a homeschooler, for my own personal reasons. KBell
I would easily choose public school because all of my friends were met there.........I can't even imagine trying to get friends being homeschooled
ZBomber
There's only one kid around here that I see often. I have friends from school, but they live far away. So, if I was homeschooled, I don't think it'd effect my friend list. *curses his small town with a small population*

Sivy
i'm glad i wasn't home schooled, i think of all the stuff i would have missed out on... like seeing the face of one teacher when the class walked in to find her asleep at her desk with a bottle of vodka in her hand (she was promptly sacked afterwards)... the gym teacher that whack one kid around the head with a tennis racket... and was later beaten up by said kid's father (he was a nice teacher after that). when i scored the winning goal in a soccer match and was the most popular kid in school... for about 5 minutes. when i farted in class and blamed it on the girl sitting next to me, who was then reduced to tears by all the ridicule she received (it's alright, she was a bitch anyway). the girls that seemed to have a 'who could wear the shortest skirt' contest going on... when i punched the school bully after he stole my lunch (unfortunately no one was around to see it, but from then on we had an unspoken agreement, i didn't tell anyone how i knocked the school bully sparko with one punch (not that they would believe me anyway) and he never tried bullying me or my friends again.) when a friend brough in a bottle of cheap and nasty cider and we got drunk in history class... ah, so many fond memories. people being home-schooled miss out on so much. PR-0927
Originally posted by ET Warrior Agreed Same here, Tennis PWN's you. I would hate being home-schooled. I like to look at all of the hot chicks wearing thongs in gym class (when we had to do swimming). Too bad, I'll never get any of those chicks, they are in the "prep" category. When you're sixty-six and your brittle hip has cracked in half due to not going outside and engaging some outdoor activity or sport, you will look back and wish that you had such wonderful memories. I was home-schooled for two years. It may be easier than school, but damn, I'd pick a school over home-school any day of the week. Good ol' friends, good ol' football, good ol'... ah yes. I just had to rub that in! Oh, and Kbell, yeah, I forgot about the weight-lifting you had to do before the season. ^_^ Still though, if you're a good runner that's excellent. There are all these silly people who think they need cups, but then they try to run and they get an insta-groin-rash. XD
