DarkAngel619
Hello there, I just wanted to let everyone know that Play Plus magazine has released the first exclusive UK review. Its Issue 130 and has Battlefront in full glorious colour on the cover. Sadly you will have to buy it to see the review as it is bagged. Its a great review though. They have given us 94% with 9/10 for graphics, 10/10 for sound, 9/10 for gameplay and 9/10 for long term appeal. Not bad eh!!! If you are in the UK then go out and get it. its well worth it. Also you get to see lots of my (and my boys) nice graphics. take care. D.

Axe2Grind
Hey Bobby ' Here's a quote from Totalgames.Net's PS2 Review : " There's little cooperation but the AI characters do work well." Exactly, how are they Uncooperative ? Care to Comment ? Thanks

vulcan_sniper
Sorry, dude, but unless my computer took me to a differant site, this one stinks. He talks, like, five percent about battlefront, and goes off talking about how starwars is all good, and Beru's and Owen's corpses not showing up. Geez, easily distracted, isnt he? Scavenger
doesnt talk much about how much the game offers...
Torch
An independant magazine scoring 94%?!?! This isn't helping me be patient you know. Any chance you can get the publishers to release it sooner Bobby?

There are actually two pages to the review - if you go down the bottom you can see a link to the 2nd (much longer) page which is basically 100% about the game. rut-wa jodar
This is a very encouraging review, considering that the PS2 version is supposed the be the least strongest version. It certainly paints a great picture for the PC

It certainly paints a great picture for the PC I have to say it's stupid to place the PS2 version as the "third place" version and the Xbox one as "second place" and the PC one as "first". Both have their advantages and disadvantages, in the end it's mostly a matter of taste. I myself have a PC but I really want it for Xbox, because my PC isn't exactly top-notch

Mountainforest
I wan't to say something to all those people who were complaining about the graphics: I WAS RIGHT A 9 for graphics! Maybe this isn't doom3, but I think that's enough

JediJohn
Originally posted by LightNinja well this game should be played online so that i dont care how the a.i. is when you play online there are only 8-16 real players so in a game with up to 500 soldiers on each team there is still 492-484 AI players, so you will still have them, so as of now you do care. JDKnite188
Originally posted by Mountainforest . . . A 9 for graphics! Maybe this isn't doom3, but I think that's enough Make a note that Doom3 has redefined modern graphics but still sits on the multiplayer capabilities of 1994 The review made one distinct point: this is an exceptional Star Wars title in comparison to the movies. It was mentioned that the battlefields are n't just timed killfests. There is a system of army strength: "Each side has a set amount of troops in reserve that are denoted by your side's strength number, when this reserve number hits zero then that side has been... annihilated." Finally, a grand tactical game with purpose. CS has the one-life player idea, but any multiplayer game can support that option these days. ET (Enemy Territory) has class variety and objective-based fighting, but a defender team can easily camp the whole time to win the match. BF seems to combine the best of both extremes: tactics and limits.

Axe2Grind
News Flash !!! If the AI Doesn't respond well to Commands, It will Affect Online, as well as Offline ! If they havn't been fixed , this game will be utterly useless ! Whether Online or Off , If they went to all the trouble to make commands ,. they should have made sure they they work Properly ! Just another example of..... " We need to ship it the same day the movie comes out " Type of Crap !!! Another news flash for Lucas Arts.... We would rather have a quality game in our hands then have the game when the movie comes out !! If the AI Sux, I ain't touchin this one !! Oh well,...Not that much longer of a wait for Halo 2 That's what I really appreciate about a Developer like Bungie ! They try and makesure All Aspects of their Game works before Shipping ! Lucas Arts,....You need to get a clue !!!!
