DrMcCoy Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Originally posted by RayJones prffft. c..? the good guys code in *pascal* and the hard ones in assembler. ...no, pascal was meant as a learning language, so only whiny beginners code in pascal... ...real men code either in c (or c++ if you really must) or assembler... (...or in brainfuck... or in malbolge *duck*)

Mr Flibble Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Hiya folks! Remember me? My av. is self explanitory. I code in C, I'm a MANLY PIRATE! (Oh, and if anyone's a spammer its Fealiks) if (IsSpamOn==1) { RunVirus(1, 1); } else if SetHappyMode while[].HappyMode be happy! } } Its a little off, I'm a little rusty.
Fealiks Posted November 22, 2004 Author Posted November 22, 2004 Originally posted by Mr Flibble (Oh, and if anyone's a spammer its Fealiks) Thankyou, thankyou. And yeah, I do remeber you. And, no, you won't remember me. But do you remember pHILBRUSH? If so, you remeber me. spamspaaaaaaaammo. ish.
DrMcCoy Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Originally posted by Mr Flibble Hiya folks! Originally posted by Mr Flibble (Oh, and if anyone's a spammer its Fealiks) ...i second that... Originally posted by Mr Flibble if (IsSpamOn==1) { RunVirus(1, 1); } ...that seems to be quite correct... Originally posted by Mr Flibble else if SetHappyMode while[].HappyMode be happy! } } O_o... that's wrong... 1. you mean "else {", right? 2. "SetHappyMode" should be "SetHappyMode();" (given that it should resemble a function) 3. "while[]..."? rather "while(HappyMode) { printf("be happy!\n");" or something... 4. there should be only one "}"... Originally posted by Mr Flibble Its a little off, I'm a little rusty. ...yeah, seems so... well, i would have problems with pascal, cause i haven't touched it for some years...
Mr Flibble Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Cheers McCoy, thats exactly what i meant. I remember Fealiks and you McCoy. Is the old me. Is it just me, or has this place changed since last I was here? Seems...different.

Darth Groovy Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Originally posted by Fealiks yeah, yeah, cool, yeah. Hey look! The Groovemeister (we'll talk) just changed his avatar back to thee goood onee Everybody, everywhere always complains when I change it, then they all start building and sending me variations of Darth Maul, some wearing suits and ties. Don't know if it is a hint, or if they genuinely want me to remain the "Dapper Zabrak". Not that it matters. Guess i'm sort of a slave to my own invention. *shrugs* It's cool though, it's the only one I never completely tire of.
Ray Jones Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 hey. the dapper zabrak,.. again! ^__^ but seriously.. i personally like the "groovy" one most. (you know what i mean, huh, huh?) .. -- well.. pascal was meant to be a learning language, but has grown out of it long ago, dudemr doc. also, c has an awful crappy syntax and can not do anything more than other languages. and in the end it shouldnt matter if a program is written in c, basic or pascal, the code should be the same. but that of course depends to the compiler. at i think they should be at least be able to compensate "mistakes" like skinkers, but dont get me started on compilers now, because they're all stupid ******* .. *cough* .. ahh.. venice!

Joshi Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Flibble, elseif has no space, you didn't define the integers and i is usually followed by a capital letter, ie, iSpam. Otherwise, the rest is total crap.
