Right now I'm all hyped up for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. I'm a bit of a Nintendo fanboy and the Metroid series is one of my all time favourite game series.

I so can't wait to continue my adventure from Metroid Prime into Metroid Prime 2... I've been dloading sneak peeks and trailers and reading up information and discussing what might happen in the game with others in a Metroid forum XD

Anyone else interested in Metroid Prime 2? Or what about some other game that's out or is coming out? Of course there's an army of Halo 2 fans in the crowd :p

Come on let's talk about videogames, old and new and yet to be released.

Just bought KOTOR, much less number 2 (course, I've not bought Halo yet either). So far so good. Was hoping there might be more action control in combat, or perhaps something like the system used in Gladius, but all in all it's pretty sweet.

As for new games, I'm looking at Jak III, Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Sly Cooper 2, Fable, Outlaw Golf 2, and Bard's Tale. Going to try out the Battleground demo, though I'm already interested in it, and the preview of the Ep III game on the DVD looks rather good too.

You sure love your Metroid, Lynk. :)

Metroid is been released in the States around the same time as Baten Kaitos. So, I doubt I'll be getting it, but for a long time, I've been desiring to get into the Metriod series, the time never came up. I seriously need to play the old school Metriod games badly. :p

Plus, I haven't done a first-person shooter in some time. Metroid Prime 2 might change that for me, if I have the money for it.

Nintendo is releasing some good games in the coming months. Paper Mario 2 is due out later next week, I can't wait! :D

Actually the best thing about the Metroid Prime series is that it's not a first person shooter, it's a first person adventure which makes it even better in my eyes.

Bleh, I really need to stop classing everything that's first person as a shooter. Man, I'll call Persona a first person shooter, instead of a first person RPG if I keep thinking that way...

How does it been an adventure instead of a shooter make it more enjoyable? Doing some research on the title before picking it up. :p

Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords

I bought Fable a few weeks ago, beat it in 6 days. It's alright, and pretty fun, but there just are not enough quests. I started playing KotOR a few days ago, since I realized TSL is coming out in a couple months, and I have not beat KotOR as a Dark Jedi, started playing, and can't stop playing it.

KotOR is much bigger than Fable. I bought the xbox two years ago for two games: KotOR and Fable. KotOR > Fable.

I'm not saying that Fable is a bad game, it's really fun, the music and graphics are nice, and the way everyone perceives your character makes it good. I'm just disappointed that they had to hype it up so much, and then u start the game, expecting to be able to roam the world like morrowind, but find yourself confined to a path. The constant nagging from the hero's guild 'there's an important quest card for you in the map room' gets soooooooo annoying, cause I just wanna mess around, and since i beat the game (about 30 hours, some can beat it in 6....) I just wanna screw around and do whatever the hell I want!!!!! so eventually you find yourself storming back into the hero's guild and either taking the quest (they happen to be linear by the way...you fail a quest, you have to restart it, some consequence, huh...) OR you could just say 'you know what, hero guild master?' '**** YOU.' and get out your weapon and start attacking the tourists and fellow heros, and get your ass kicked out of the hero's guild for a few minutes. XD you go back in, and they're all running and booing you and screaming, it's great. could've been more fun had they had added more towns. but whatever. A fun thing to do is just beat the damn story, wait for the damn credits to end, and just have fun from there, cause you can still play when the game is over, though your character looks like he was just let out from an abusive nursing home. XD

I can't wait for Kotor II: TSL and then....B.C. they better not **** B.C. up, cause that's another one i've been watching for a long time.

Well apart from killing space pirates and hostile wildlife the main function of weaponry is to effect the environment around you. You might need to blow a wall up to get into another area or find a powerup or something like that... and in true metroid style, you need to shoot doors to open them, lol.

A shooting game is just senseless violence for 10 hours. Adventure shooting gets you more involved into the story, and you don't worry so much about running out of ammo as what'll happen to that character over there.

<---- Metroid Prime 2? What's that? ;) Hehe, you know how big a Samus fan I am. I have all the Metroid games, and I am very much looking forward to MP2, although I do prefer 2D Samus to 3D Samus. :D

The game I'm most looking forward to is Halo 2. I'm just such a huge Halo fanboy, or girl, or whatever. I've completed the game too many times to remember (including legendary), and I have read all of the books and I know and have downloaded a whole load of other Halo stuff that no sane person should. ^^

The other games I'm very much looking forward to are:

Stargate SG-1

Half-Life 2

KotOR II: The Sith Lords

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes :p

Area 51

Black

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (on PC)

Destroy All Humans!

Dragon Age

Dragonshard

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey

Duke Nukem Forever

F.E.A.R.

Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls (GBA)

Jade Empire

Lord of the Rings Battle for MIddle Earth

Need for Speed Underground 2

Pariah

Perfect Dark Zero

Robotech: Invasion

The Roots

Scrapland

Star Wars Republic Commando

Starcraft Ghost

Starship Troopers

Still Life

Stolen

Tron 2.0: Killer App

I guess I better start saving! =/

*coughs at leXX* that's a pretty short list you have XD

:p It was twice as big originally, but I decided to shorten it due to the fact that I'm not a millionaire. ^^

> lol starship troopers!

And what is wrong with Starship Troopers? ¬¬

"Would you like to know more?" :D
