RpTheHotrod
Gotta be a teamspeak user to understand. The letters between the ( and ) 's shows your position in TS. U means unregistered R means registered CA means Channel Admin V means voices SA means server admin You can't have anything else in there...cept for me..muhaha. El Sitherino
and just because we don't bother with teamspeak doesn't mean we aren't geeks, and anyone that says otherwise is a sap(pling).
Darth Groovy
Teamspeak sucks. We few and rare members of the [echo] clan tried this out on CoD, and it sucked monkey in the worst way. Lots of feedback, distortion, and technical problems. We decided it was less stressfull to play the game without the annoying team speak. I have since deleted it from my hard drive. We also had the same problems with Roger Wilco. Note that all the cool games like UT2004 have built in chat programs that are actually good and easy to use. If you have XBox, you know that XBOX live comes with the uber cool head mic, no button pushing, just talk and be heard!
RpTheHotrod
TS has voice activated too I just use TS cuz it doesn't have to be games. Practically...free long distance.

Alegis
Ha nice, I want to know how...Since I dont use ventrilo anymore can't make the BAW sound. Teamspeak has much better voice activation than any other team voice program. Ventrilo got better quality though

Man that's an awful lot of problems for just trying it out . well I guess "to each his own". CapN , myself and several others in our squad have use RW and now TS for years with very little probs , except for joining each others servers once in a while , just depends on whos serving. not to mention how incredibly easy they are to use and serv. As far as I know most voice communicators have "Voice Activation", maybe some don't , regardless there's nothing like listening to someone breath , or chew , or talk to somebody in the same room as them . As for the uber games with built in VC , Have you been in some of these games ,I spent most of the time putting someone on mute so you don't have to listen to them run their mouth, or just plain act like retards. No thanks I'll stick to TS or something like that . besides I'm always hooked up to same people . Makes team work a whole lots easier. not to mention we bs for hours. But anyways this is just MHO.
