You sure do talk alot about weight issues. ;)

Anyway, overweight means you're over your body:weight ratio. Obese means you're way, way over your body:weight ratio. For instance, some muscle builders are overweight because of thier muscles, but none are obese.

Thanks for the info guys!

Although im FAR from being overwieght, (less than 130 pounds and a little over 6 ft tall) I just dont EVER want tat to happen to ME!

Obesity is a problem that needs recognition! Have you seen Morgan Spurlock's "Super Size Me"?

It talks about the fast food places! It talks about the teenage girls who ate at McDonalds all the time since they were todlers and they are HUGE and they are suing McDonalds corperation for this!

It talks about how they use playgrounds and toys to fish kids to come to get kids adicted to it!

to see just HOW bad it is for you, Morgan Spurlock Is suposedly tring an experiment to eat a McDonalds onlt diet for 30 days straight!

I already KNEW it was revolting food! Anything that leaves your fingers glistining in oil cant be good for you! We have sugar in EVERYTHING!

let me tell you about my little cousin! When she was a little girl, her dad wouldn't make her eat vegitables! she would resist until her dad gave up and then she'd get some cookies!

she would't try anything new! she never had pizza before and she wouldnt try it! she just ate the crust and did't know what she was missing!

my dad tried to make her eat one green bean! She just acted like she was throwing up!

All she would eat is chicken! ...and sweets! she is huge now!

I feel sorry for her! I just thank my lucky stars that I have been raised to eat right! Do not misunderstand, this is a post of SYMPATHY! ...no to critisise her or make fun of her!

but what goes on the salad? dressing that is loaded with fat and what-not...and the oranges wont really make a difference will it? they(kids) still have the choice of a burger with(out) cheese....or those little "Improved Chicken" nuggets...

but i say meh cuz i dont like the Mac...

My dad says EVERY fast food place sells fatening crap! McDonalds is just the one that gets criticized!

Even in the grocery store, even in salads and fruit, there are ADDITIVES that they add for preserved freshness! they pot it in there to make it look better and taste better, but it's not good for you!

Dad says there's SURGER in EVERYTHING! so much so that companies DISGUISE it: for example, in ketchup the ingrediants label "corn syrup" which has surger IN it!

even apples has the possibility of coming from a country where it's leagal to use DDT! a poison used to keep bugs off! THAT can hurt you a little!

However! we are still living longer lifespans than in medieval times! we still are better off now than we are! but thats no reason to eat whatever garbage we want without exercising!

Whats surger? is that another word for sugar? >.>

Btw, I remember a time where me and my bro ate McDonalds every day for about 3 weeks for that mcdonalds monopoly thing. The thing was, is that during the weekdays, theres a curfew for school that ends at 3 o clock, so we'd get up in the morning and freaking starve till 3, then walk down to mcdonalds and eat. So we probably lost weight instead :p

uhmm... everything has sugar, even natural apples untouched by any manmade crap. Sugar is part of our required diet, same as carbs and everything else these fad diets want you to cut. To be truely healthy you are to eat recommended amounts of all types of foods, and excercise normally.

also the insecticide is only out the outside of the foods, that's why they always recommend you wash your fruits and vegetables before eating them. *points to warnings in the produce isle*

Im not a perfect speller OK?

Insanesith:

really? Apples? suger?

Well, we eat TOO MUCH ADDED surger! TOO MUCH suger can give you too many calories!

Anyway, good point about everything HAVING surger!
