EA has truly become an empire that destroys everything for the sake of making a few bucks on the way.
Leper Messiah
oh well, ill continue to buy their Fifa game every year..... but yes its not a very nice way to treat people and id rather they made their money with a little less ruthlessness, but i wont for a second pretend that itll make a difference to my game buying habits. Cpt. Bannon
I guess its a good thing that I've never purchased anything from EA, then.
ET Warrior
This is something I've known about, and it really upsets me. I can't believe a corporation could be so rotten as to treat their employees like that. GRRRRRrrrr
Rogue15
holy crap. that sucks. no overtime pay?!!?!?!?!?!! i'd quit. i bet they are forced to work holidays too.
swphreak
Heh... read alot of that. I do believe there are labor laws and crap, and if the laborers themselves don't stand up, then I think they should stop complaining. I do think it is a bad thing, and it needs to be dealt with. 90SK
God forbid, I would start a strike! Its really sickening when companies take advantage of their workers like that. And all those innocent gaming companies! *sob*

ShadowTemplar
A shame. Dark Omen was good... But that's what you get when you live in a country with no labour unions.
kipperthefrog
Uhhh ALL corperations take advantage of their employees one way or another. here is another example here: My dad and i are the only people in his work that can capture video to digital AVI files. It is not my dad's job, so he has to capture videos at home. It is alot of trouble, but they won't pay my dad any more extra money for it. This is the way they think: Why pay extra for it if they can get it for free. If he don't do it, they will simply fire him saying he's "not a team player". What do we do? Dagobahn Eagle
As a side note, their logo sucks. That stern, robotic, echoing woman's voice and that whispering little boy are like taken out of a horror movie. I'm serious, they give me the creeps! EA have been compared to both MicroSoft and LucasArts in terms of ruthlessness and greed. I tend to agree.
