jon_hill987 Posted January 11, 2005 Posted January 11, 2005 you mean the activation code? as far as I know when you give them your product key it is a combination of the key of that copy of XP and your PC this is then used to produce the activation code, it is unique to the PC and that copy of windows so you cant use that copy on another PC, but I could be wrong. EDIT: anyway isn't this sorta' thing frownd appon here?

I thought he meant the Start key One of the handiest ones on the keyboard for me as I'm too lazy/impatient to drag my mouse across the screen every time I want to start a program. I mean the one on the right hand side. EDIT coz i woz slow: No that is the Context Menu button. Works like a Right-Click most of the time. See?! anyway why not just right click? you have a mouse i assume?
