Just to let you know that I am currrently working on the following:

 

Party Manager armband for TSL (same as my party manager armband for Kotor 1): to add/remove party members - it's done but it needs some testing :D

 

Warping armband - again, this one is almost done but the cutscenes are giving me some trouble :mad: so I'll have to use waypoints (it will also require quite a lot of testing)

 

AIOFPM for TSL :D

 

And finally a serie of intergalactic missions that will include new areas and new items (when K2 model format is craked) (this will take some time).

 

 

I should be able to release the Party Manager Armband and the AIOFPM next weekend (I will be away from my computer most of the week).

 

Concerning the AIOFPM, would you prefer to have the "utility" armbands (such as the one to get the coordinates) included in this mod or should I put only the "fun" stuff?

 

Edit: oh yes, if you have new ideas for force powers, you can put them here :)

 

 

re-edit: oh yeah...I have one more surprise in my plans ;)

Well as long as you're asking, how about bringing back your Tach morphing power, maybe we can morph our foes into cannoks this time :D, and your Mind Trick force power turning foes to friends, I enjoyed those a lot :D. If i think of any good new ones I'll let you know, good luck with the mods, oh and as T7 said if you need any items, textures, or anything like that for your intergalactic missions don't be afraid to ask ;)

I saw that force power, but I thought it did something different so I never "selected it", I guess somebody over there saw your great work and decided to put it in the game this time :)

So, the Dark Queen of the Galaxy started A WIP thread :)

 

Whee!

 

The Mods you propose will be very nice, however i see that the Party Manager might cause problems on the game.

 

What ive noticed, is that the game is very dependant on the stories and participation of all the Party members, which shows me it will be harder for those to make Recruit mods.... i want a Handmaiden to Mission mod.... lol but.... the Warpband one will be much useful, in Kotor1, that warpband was my best friend. i never used the Ebon hawk again lol.

Edit: There were alot of stuff in TSL that reminded me of certain.... Mods.

 

perhaps some of the designers of TSL is in this thread?!

Amazingly I only thought of this just now, anyway I don't know if this is possible, but what about a Force Power that would either let the user spawn placeables or use nearby placeables to throw at the enemy using the force ala Darth Vader in the Empire Strikes Back?

I had thought of that once. But the best you can do with placeables is rotate them once they are placed. Unless you count the idea of multiple CreateObject and DestroyObject function calls to "animate" the motion the placeable. That would look, at best, poor. :p

Change the appearance of a grenade (or Mira's rockets) to a placeable, but you'd have to have really big pockets to have an arsenal of chests to sling around ;) ...heh

 

@Darth333

Glad to see you've got a WIP! and I'd have to play Devil's advocate and agree with T7, the utilities would be a nice include for the armbands :dev11:, and of course, what little help I can offer for your Intergalactic Missions is at your disposal :D

Sorry to sort of hijack your thread Darth333, but this is actually sort of relavent, anyway on with my idea. So you can't use placeables to pick up and throw, but what about creatures? I mean what if you sort of combined Force Crush and Force Wave into one power. What I mean is levitate the creature with Force Crush with an optional crumpling, but then have the creature fly backwards as in Force Push/Wave, would that work?

Unfortunately things didn't turned out as expected and I don't think I'll be able to complete these projects. I thought my schedule would be better this year but no... When you work 50-60 hours/week plus a house to take care of, you don't really feel like modding in the evening :nut: Apart a few things for the USM team, I do not have time to mod right now. Perhaps if I get bored during my vacations... :D

Not really, just giving a very little hand with a few scripts, that's all. I am a modelling n00b :D

When it comes to scripting, there's no such thing as a "very little hand" ;)

 

You're just as much part of the USM Team as any of us as far as I'm concerned. Considering the fact you looked over every one of my scripts to see if they would actually work (yeah, I still suck at scripting :rolleyes: ) I'm very grateful :D

 

and I'm sure other modders will be as well, seeing as they will be able to make "edits" to the placeable I put in the USM to host their own mods.

 

Though as a heads up to other modders... brush up on your scripting and dialogue skills ;)

Though, if you do happen to get time or 'bored' hehehe... a Warping Armband for TSL would be the bomb
