The "Holowan Bards" News Report @ RPGdot

Recommended Posts

It is Official as of this afternoon the newest member to the RPGdot team has begun the process of taking the "Reins of the Holowan Reports."

As it is hinted at in the old Holowan Report Thread by CDRSeadog. I am the new "Holowan Bard". As I have just become a member of the team I don't as of yet have a Holowan Report. But rest easy there is one that I shall be preparing soon enough. I have a feeling in the first report I will probably miss a few of our modders initially. So feel free to let me know here that I missed you in a report.

I suppose some of you might ask is this the end of my modding career. I say not in a million. I will continue my current mod projects among my other multitude of duties.

Looking forward to your first mod-itorial, maybe when I'm not so lazy I might have something to write about ;) heheh

Indeed - congratulations are very much in order:-) Welcome aboard the RPGDot Mod Editor Team (I'll be sending you an "official Mod Editor Team" e-mail just as soon as I finish up my reporting shift for the rest of RPGDot this AM).

I daresay the competition was "stiff" - as I had previously mentioned - and the final choices were not easily or lightly made...which makes your selection all that much more noteworthy. Add the fact that the Mod Editor position at RPGDot is a totally brand new responsibility within the RPGDot hierachy that has very great potential - and I think you will find you will have your work cut out:-)

I shall not be completely retired from mod reporting myself - indeed, as your "Mod Editor Team Leader" (my "reward promotion" for creating the position in the first place *chuckles*) - my second "official act" (the first being in sending you my personal, and "official" congratulations e-mail) is to name you as RPGDot Mod Editor (Expert) for the Holowan Laboratories - which, btw, the Holowan is one of a choice few "modsites" to have this particular distinction.

Again - congratulations, and welcome aboard (oh, and once Myrthos has all of your administrative items taken care of, check out my RPGDot forum avatar, "Obi-Wan Kermobi" *chuckles again* :-)

As I mentioned before I shall endeavor to fill the shoes you have handed to me. While I await my admin setup to happen I have begun compiling a list of Mods since the last report. Just to get a head start on the daunting task in which I'm sure to be facing shortly.

As to avatars I will definetley have to check it out. If others haven't noticed I've gotten a new Avatar. I will probably improve what I have further as well.

To everybody else thank you once again. No worries DarthSmallz, I'm not dropping the "Death Star" project.

The latest news report from your roving Holowan Bard is up at KOTOR @ RPGdot.com. Todays feature is segment dedicated to all the brilliant modders and there own websites. This is the first of a 2 or 3 part segment as part of my desire to bring everybody up to snuff on all of the mods around here. If anybody thinks I might have missed them keep your eye's peeled for the next edition. I would like to note though there are some modders who I know have there own site however they don't have links to there sites directly such as Gsccc. If any of these modders would like me to feature them just PM me with your site or post it here.

Thanks for the 'props' man :D

Now after this advertisement I need to go check on my available bandwidth .. hehehe

Question. Are you going to start doing your reports on a specified day?

(or better yet, are they already... my memory and all well...sucks  )....

Anywho, keep up the great work! Between these reports and your MECK Death Star, I don't see how you do it ;)

Don't forget my 2 jobs outside of the forums, I'm also running project management of my moms house being constructed, and taking a night class 2 nights a week.:D

Right now I'm trying to play alot of catch-up from the last month and a half or so. I figured this method of reporting I've been doing might serve as a excellent all inclusive. Then I can start doing regular latest releases reports.

Also as a heads up I might start doing special modder of the week interviews to get to know your fellow modders. However this is more of a pet project than anything.
