rut-wa jodar
I heard somwhere that ROTS is unlikely to get a PG classification in the UK,due to the violent content. I was hoping to take my kids when it opens on May 19th,but that seems unlikely now.
Andy867
According to George Lucas and a few other sources, it has been said that due to the graphic nature of Episode 3 and its somewhat disturbing images at times make going for a PG classification impossible. Lucas said that it would likely get a PG-13 rating because of the movie's dark nature and imaging.
Surfnshannon
I would probably take a child that is over 10 years old pushing 11 years old. This is going to be violent - and you don't want your kids seeing all of their heroes either die or skin melt off etc. You want to wait until they can understand it. Or you can just go see it yourself and if you think they can handle it I'd take them to a different showing either later that day or the next. Hope that helps
Boba Rhett
My four year old nephew adores Star Wars and seeing this movie is all he's been talking about. I even said I'd take him to it a while ago. What am I gonna do?

Sivy
it's possible it may get a '12A' rating in the UK, in which case children younger than 12 can see it if accompanied by an adult.

Sabretooth
Here, we have three ratings - U, U/A and A. Universal, Adult and everything in between. I think EPIII will get a U/A and that meens my teenage soul will be enjoying the sights and sounds of the final SW movie in a multiplex.
