Jo
ROFL. great, but upon further diggin around. Here is where it all started People had quoted his early posts so you can see what he wrote. but now he has gone through all his posts and edited them out, taking out picture links and saying that he "FOTOSHOPPED" it all and was lying. ROFL, its even greater. goes on for 16 pages. on alot he repeats himself saying that he was lying and even said he modded his PS2 to look like it and touching it up with Photoshop. Great read to go through just some of the pages and see what he says what an idiot its like the next star wars kid..

TiE23
Yah, he deleted most of his posts, but a lot of them quoted him, so you can still read it. Those are not Photoshopped, they can't be. But telling how he did get the Xbox 360 was a really bad idea. Once he knew he was in big trouble, he tryed deleting everything and saying they were photoshopped. Pretty funny, lets us know that it has some power, the interface is cool, about the controller, and the secret powesupply. I'm okay about the powersupply, because my xbox just sits on a shelf with a couple of wires running around behind it. TiE
Acrylic
I'm confused about the whole power supply thing. Is it like the big box thing on the Gamecube's power cord?

Yah, I think so, the xbox is big enough to hold its own, so it kept it inside and it a had a normal wire running out the back. But I'm guessing its like the size of a power supply you find in a Computer, but in plastic covering. TiE

edlib
Eh... I don't see the big deal. I used to know a bunch of guys who worked for Bose and they always had all kinds of prototypes and pre-production stuff just sitting around in thier houses. It was standard practice. The very first home 5.1 system I ever heard was in one of thier houses... and that was over 20 years ago. It's not like we don't already know what the X-360 is going to look like. The only thing new we are finding out is what the boot screen might look like, and that this pre-production model has a large external power supply. Would Microsoft ****-can an employee over something his stupid step kid did without his knowledge? Possibly... I wouldn't put it past them... but for all that this could just as easily be a MS plant to start fanboy chatter and get the masses drooling in a Pavlovian fashion. I certainly wouldn't put that past them either!
El Sitherino
The latter would seem more Microsoft to me.

Considering the size of a computer power-supply unit, I should surely hope not! I wouldn't mind if it was like the Gamecube one, though.
edlib
Considering the power supply: It's a prototype, if it's even real at all. Don't read that much into it. They probably haven't designed the real one yet, and that one's a temp mock-up using existing parts

I don't have a big fancy pants HDTV supreme. I only have 10+ years old tiny TV because we don't have the money to buy a better one.
Lightsaberboy
is it just me or does that room he's playing in seem to be missing a lot of furniture? i dont see any chairs or sofas, and the tv's on the ground instead of on a stand or something.. lukeskywalker1
IG: You can buy a 19 Inch TV for around $100 now, at least, thats how much I got mine. Its nothing amazing, but hey, its better than what that kid was using. And yes, that link only takes me to the main page. I guess they deleted it. To bad. I really hope the guy didn't lose his job over this. Really, there wasn't a huge ammount of information leaked. Who cares about the power supply? Yeah, the start screen is cool, but other than that the kid obviously doesn't know that much about the system. And as this thread prooves, people are planning to buy this thing now. What could they possibly be testing with those wires coming out the top though? They look like connectors inside your PC, you know, like something you would hook a Hard Drive up to, or a CD Drive. To afford the Xbox360, he had to sell everything 2. The Xbox360 wouldn't fit in the room otherwise.
