The Source
MacLeodCorp (R.I.P.)! For the next few days, I will keep the original name in place. Untill people get use to it, I will keep the old name listed in the main post. Untill I get everything to match, I will keep things organized... (Updated the first post!) TheOssusKeeper
good question, what was wrong with MacLeodCorp?
The Source
MacLeod is my last name. I will be using it for a personal and buisness website. In order to seperate my buisness side from fun, I will be using MacLeodCorp for a screen and webmaster name. I know I did say I will be using it for my KotOR II modding site. Since the account will be under my personal name, I don't want to take the chances with clients meeting my recreation side. When it comes to clients, professionalism must be maintained. At the moment, I will be keeping the pcgamemods.com screen name MacLeodCorp. If my collogues have no problem with it, I will change this name back to MacLedoCorp. I will be leaving the title of my [W.I.P.] MacLeodCorp for some time, so people will get used to it. Plus, Highlander: The Source...lol...

The Source
Progress Update: 8/18/05! Since I have been at college, looking into a job on campus, I have only made a few advancements on the above mentioned mods. I have been spending more time outside and on the road, so I never have the time to continue modding. At the moment, I will be taking my time on these new mods. On August 7th, I started to back my files up, so I can refresh my computer before school starts. Since I have a 160GB hardrive, and about 10GBs of work, backing up everything takes time. If I don't complete these mods by August 31st, I will not be modding until December. When school gets out for winter break, I will be able to mod again. Therefore, I will try my best to finish up my work. Within the first post, you will find some updated information. Thank You, TheSource (MacLeodCorp)
Command3r
Ok I can see more important things are in your way. No problem. Jeff
If you cant finish the bill boards would you please release them unfinished? I don't want to speak for Mac... I mean, Source... But I don't see him releasing an unfinished project. But thats just me. Glad you are putting your studies first, thats something I need to learn how to do. The Source
I don't want to speak for Mac... I mean, Source... But I don't see him releasing an unfinished project. But thats just me. Glad you are putting your studies first, thats something I need to learn how to do. When KotOR II came out, I was cramming my time. I wanted to do everything at once. This time around, I will not have enough hours to put into modding. I have only a year and a half to go, so I will be working at homework full-time. As for the incomplete mod, I don't see myself releasing anything that is unfinished. I also don't want people to steal the idea as well. Therefore, when the Telos: Billboards Sets are done, I will send out PM to everyone who has been waiting for them. Also, I will be changing my screen name to 'MacCorp'. Since everyone finds it easy to call me 'Mac', I will just abreviate 'MacLeod'... I think people will find it easier to relate to my pcgamemods.com account. DARTH333 or T7nowhere!?!?! Where are you!?!?! Lol...
Bob Lion54
Hey Mac. I just wanted to say I'm sorry to see you leaving. I hope you still pop in from time to time just to say "whats up?", even if you don't make mods for a few months. Your Telos Billboards are one of the most unique ideas out there. It looks like your "final projects" are shaping up nicely. Hopefully you get that completed before you start school. Good luck with school!! Command3r
?? What ??? Never mind I misread something in your post. I thought you said you had planned something from a different date. I don't want to speak for Mac... I mean, Source... But I don't see him releasing an unfinished project. But thats just me. You know what? I agree. But you see, when Darth Straker quit KOTOR modding he never finished his Sith Armada II. Which I thought looked really cool. So even if its unfinished I would still want the mod before TheSource/Macorp stopped modding.
The Source
Quick Update: 8/25/05 For the next few weeks, I will be woring hard on the above mentioned projects. See above (The first post) for more details!
Emperor Devon
You don't have to be a modder to still be a part of holowan, mac. Anyhow, what exactly are you doing with the HK factory? Some other people are already working on restoring them.
The Source
You don't have to be a modder to still be a part of holowan, mac. Anyhow, what exactly are you doing with the HK factory? Some other people are already working on restoring them. You don't like my mods? HK Factory agenda! 1. Reconnect the level to Telos, but not in the sublevels. 2. Manipulate the script, so HK-47 doesn't have to be the only one to visit the level. 3. Place an entrence in game, which you the gammer can go visit the levels any time you visit Telos. 4. Instead of blowing up the levels, I will make it so its a military base. Like the Sith base in KotOR I. Yeah, restoring will be lieft to the TSL Restoration team. Hoever, I think people will want to visit the level often, and possibly take it over. Therefore, I will create the HK Factory in a manner, which will allow the PC to visit and store equipment. However, they will have to fight ther way through to gain control. I have allready made extensive changes. I will be adding some content, and making other serious changes. I think that following Obsidian's guidelines is good and all, but I want to make the HK Factory a little more original. TSL Restoration Project team is working hard at restoring stuff, and I look forward to what they believe Obsidian's intent was. Since the modules are not owned by TSL Restoration team, and I was able to obtain my own copies from a friend's XBox, I thought I would create something a little more original. Either way, modders will be able to have two very distinct versions of the HK Factory. I will retore simple stuiff, and add in some intresting animations and such. I have friends who work for a popular animation company, and they want to work on some stuff.

The Source
New animations in TSL? You do realize that is not possible with our current tools. Yes! I don't know how they are going to do it, and I am not going to asking them how. I just know they have the tools necessary. I am sure there will be testing and retesting and retesting. We will find out when it is done. I am just in charge of scripting and designs. We shall see... If complications do exist, I will no doubt let everyone know... Other words, they are going to try it... I was just told that: If the animations do not work, the mod's deadline will not be moved... At the end, the modding community will have another version of the HK Factory to choose from.
Emperor Devon
You don't like my mods? I never said that. I already knew a team was working on the HK factory, and I was curious as to why you were working on it.

The Source
Yes, Devon, but that is as part of the TSLRP, this is something for those more impatient of us Exactly!!! You see TSL Restoration Project is restoring a mess of stuff, and that is why it is taken time. Since it will take only a few weeks, to restore the HK Factory, I know that I can have something ready by the time college starts up again. Plus, I will edit the level so you can revisit them. The Source
And if they do work...we will need those tools Any contribution/discovery is welcomed! Agreed! When it comes to importing, I believe there should be tools available. However, there will be no tools available for construction. From what I understand they cost about $1,000 to $2,000 per application. Maybe a simple application, which allows people to import the animation files.
