Screw it, that was my failed attempt to produce the ^, < and V characters in ascii binary and thus make the above post wrong (gettit?) I'm sure DrMcCoy will laugh his arse off and my Computer Systems Lecturer will wonder why he passed me (in short, I knew it all about 3 months ago). So to hell with that.
