tags Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 ok, so this is my first time making a comic strip. but it's just one panel. what do ya think of it? alright? sucks? has it been done?
BongoBob Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 Ummmm, did he forget to put the img in it or something?
Tyrion Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 how bout this way? I'm not entirely sure I get it. Like, are the crispies yelling out profanities because of the fact they're going to be eaten, or it's that they're cursing instead of crackling?
ZBomber Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 That idea has been used somewhere. Was it robot chicken?
Vikinor Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Robot Chicken is hilarious. They did something in Family Guy with the Keebler Elves attacking Snap, Crackle and Pop of the Rice Crisppies. I don't really get the comic thing either.
ZBomber Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Ah, that was it. Yeh, the comic was kinda stupid...
TiE23 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Heh, I thought it was pretty funny. But this term "My cerial swears at me." keeps flashing through my mind. Good art Tags, better than I can do EDIT: Oh... its your sig >_> TiE
Katarn07 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Good art, not funny though. Unless there's more to it we need to see. Robot Chicken is great! I wish they hadn't moved it from it's original time slot. I haven't seen it in a long time.
El Sitherino Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 That idea has been used somewhere. Was it robot chicken? Yes, and toy fair.
Katarn07 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Toy Fair was great. Only had two issues, but I remember this one with Jek Porkins being the one true Jedi. Classic Isn't Robot Chicken from one of the creators of Toy Fair? At least the other guy that's not Seth Green?
El Sitherino Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Isn't Robot Chicken from one of the creators of Toy Fair? At least the other guy that's not Seth Green? Yeah, it is.
Katarn07 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 And when can we expect that on DVD? That is definatley my favorite original Adult Swim show. It's inevitable. Aqua Teen, Sea Lab, and Harvey Birdman are all on now. How long did those take?
edlib Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 George Carlin did a bit about getting into an argument with his Rice Krispies on his 1981 album "A Place For My Stuff." "... I distinctly heard 'Snap; Crackle; F*** him!'"
El Sitherino Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 George Carlin did a bit about getting into an argument with his Rice Krispies on his 1981 album "A Place For My Stuff." "... I distinctly heard 'Snap; Crackle; F*** him!'" Hehe, I remember that. And he drops a grapefruit in the bowl.
edlib Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 In my opinion: Funniest. Comedy. Album. Ever. I used to work with a guy, who like me, had memorized every word of the album, and we'd often riff on whole bits. We would try to crack each other up with the lists of book titles from "The Book Club." ("How To Give a King a Really Hard Time." "Chances Are, Your Sister's Full Of S***" "I Suck, You Suck.") Ahh... Good times.
Writer Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 ... ok, I'm stupid didn't realize I had to click to see... ah well, my hair is blond
El Sitherino Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 In my opinion: Funniest. Comedy. Album. Ever. That it is.
ZBomber Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Steven Tyler was on it, but they made him our to be a hyper-active drug addict who kept throwing up >_> Well, he rarely threw up atleast.
Katarn07 Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 The Armegeddon one with Harrison Ford saving the world or something? I have the first nine episodes on my HD. Didn't bother downloading them after that though.... Waste of space. I'll wait for the DVDs to watch them.
