I think he just wants to figure out how much value there is in each credit.

 

I've always thought that ten dollars were worth than one credit. It sounds like a bit much, but there are decacredits... Odd how they didn't put those in the game.

all i know is that han solo thows a 5 credit coin at the bartender on ANH

even though there not actualy in coins each sector has its own coins for the people that carnt aford to get a money thing!
