Emperor Devon
How long do you think the events in KOTOR and TSL take? I imagine that the events of KOTOR I take 449 days, and the events in TSL 527 days.
Soogz
my guess in K1 is 539 days and K2 is just about 2 years.
lukeiamyourdad
I'd like to know what's your reasoning behind those numbers or if they were simply thrown out like that.
Jeff
I'd like to know what's your reasoning behind those numbers or if they were simply thrown out like that. That's what I'd like to know... I dunno, I'll bet that K1 took...4 or 5 months. Maybe 6 or 7... But I doubt it's over a year. TSL probably took around about the same amount of time. ET Warrior
I think the REAL question is.....who cares? And why does it matter? I don't understand the need to analyze ALL of the minutia.
Mira Dona
I dunno, I'll bet that K1 took...4 or 5 months. Thats about where I would guess, taking into account hyperspace travel between planets could eat up a day or two depending on distance. Maybe even less for the actual adventuring since you really only spend a day on each planet. Do they ever give an estimate for how long the Jedi training took? I remebmer hearing it was only a few weeks.
Mira Dona
I think the REAL question is.....who cares? And why does it matter? I don't understand the need to analyze ALL of the minutia. Probably for a sense of completeness, in an attempt to make a beloved fictional place as real and tangible as possible. And maybe just because some people find it fun? Emperor Devon
There's all the time spent in hyperspace (the hyperdrive was slower then), the time spent training at Dantooine, the time on the planets, stopping off to get supplies... I really couldn't be bothered to go into vast detail.
lukeiamyourdad
That wasn't exactly the answer I was expecting. When Moeller gave an approximation of how long the events of KotOR took, it didn't need much of an explanation since it wasn't any number of days in particular. You however, gave an exact amount of days (449 and 527). The question was about the reasoning behind those numbers. How did you come up with 449 and 527? MdKnightR
Even though it took/takes me longer to complete TSL, I get the feeling that K1 takes place over a longer period of time. As for how many days, that is left to pure speculation.
Vladimir-Vlada
KOTOR 1- 3 and a half weeks KOTOR 2- 1 month
Prince
^^^^ 3 and a half weeks? That's kind of impossible since the character would have spent that much time in hyperspace. I think KOTOR 1 took around 11 - 13 months while TSl took around 17 or 19 months.
Hallucination
^^^^ I'll agree with Vladimir. If you go to Nar shadaa GOTO say the republic is gonna DIE in one month. But 3 and a half weeks? Remember that Zhar said "you have done in weeks what many cannot do in years"? I'd say its more like 2 months. Edit: Congrats to Prince for beating me to saying it. Darth InSidious
I agree with Vladimir too. But it's just a gut feeling...
