Aristotélēsticus Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 i have a problem in my sig,i cannot post pics in my sig, when i click to insert a link or image it just lead me up to the upperside of the page, what can i do????

ChAiNz.2da Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 try entering your image 'manually' in your sig edit box. Some of the advanced post tag buttons are being fickle as of late... (I can't seem to open the more smileys atm).. Just use the .. url of your image here... [/img ][/color] tags. * * Without the spaces in the img brackets of course

Apparently, we have the ability to set how many pixels a signiture can be before it gets a scroll bar. I'm not saying people should go wild with sigs, but thats a nice feature to have. Im just mentioning it because I noticed it a few seconds ago. One particular sig was bugging me. Problem solved!

Yes, this feature exists but it is also a recognize rule of etiquette on the internet not to have huge sigs as they tend to piss off people. It's a matter of respect towards other users. It's also uniniviting for non registered guests browsing the forums. When a sig takes as much place as this one on the screen: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v144/Darth333/hugesig.jpg it is too big. So one last time, please reduce your sig to a more reasonable size or we will have to do it ourselves. Edit: thanks. much better reedit: oops looks like it's IS who changed it.

I was actually looking in my options to see about somthing else when I noticed it. You are to be courteous to other members, they should not have to go out of their way just because you're rude. Do not do that again.

Aristotélēsticus Posted October 12, 2005 Author Posted October 12, 2005 i agree, but i've been attacked furiously and that what made me insist madly about my sig, in addition of some offensive words just because i have a big sig, its like the whole forum was in a war with me just because of a silly reason(in my openion) though there are others whose sig is bigger than mine....for the third time i am sorry if i hurt your eyes with my big and unbearable sig and there is no need to call me "rude"...i'll leave for now so you dont have to be afraid of my sig or to hurt your muscles scrolling down the page i posted in....

Just a moderator request to change the size your sig and frankly, I don't see what was offensive in the way I asked you to do it. I also saw a few other requests in other threads but didn't see anything offensive in them. In any event, they were not without reason. When the forums were upgraded, the avatar size limit was raised in the hope people would be more reasonable with their sigs as huge sigs tend to annoy other users. It's a matter of respect between members. If there are bigger sigs I have not seen them...and next time, if you want to avoid such lenghty discussion, follow the moderators advise.
