I was just wondering if this means anythign for editing head models, I would like to be able to give the male model long hair. Just a change up from the Backstreet Boys rejects that they give you by default :D.

OFF TOPIC: I noticed GSCCC that you haven't accepted me yet into your Rise of the Sith Mod ~_~ ANd yes, I have posted on your forum :p

 

On Topic: With cracked Animations, does that mean we can also edit the Animations for Exile? Say, give him Nihilus/Malak's Animations but still be able to have the plot flow?

I know of one blocking animation that only Malak uses, it's the one where he positions the hilt in front of the opposite shoulder of the hand that's holding it, and the blade is ignited in front of the arm holding it. Sorry if that's a bad description.

This post by Jackel made me notice something here at the forum. Am I the only person here that everyone is on a first name basis with? I mean, everyone uses my first name when they post or send me a PM/E-mail. IIRC, I always use someones handle when I post, etc...

 

Fred Tetra always gets called Fred (though technically it's not his RL name afaik).

 

Props to TSLRP's own in-house hacker, jdnoa. TSLRP (and me in particular; Mira/Hanharr will benefit greatly from this) awaits this one with anticipation. :guiness:

Now THIS is sweet! I love that block move Malak / Nihilus does where he spinds 180 and executes that block behind his back.

 

Now, i was wondering even if http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=149712 isnt possible, could we change the flurry to that awesome one Revan does in the "revan's death" cutscene (where he does that sweet set of swings before he brings the blade up near his head and points his saber at the attackers, just before Malak fires on him) or that insane one Windu does when he smashes the window on EP III?

 

Lol i know a bazillion questions like this have been asked, but excuse my excitement, the only thing that could possibly be more exciting is if we could make completely custom areas :)

I'm no Modder, so Mod God's correct me if I'm wrong, I think you probably could O.o I mean that classify's as an animation, no?

Been almost a month since the last post on here... is there anything new? new progress of any sort. Very excited to try this.

Oy! I should have looked at the calendar before posting about the animations!

 

Trying to work on a side project at the end of the year is a bad idea! :)

 

But, now that the holidays are over and the company year-end work is done I can get back to coding.

Not to worry though, we're wise enough to not pressure the 'model man'.. you work at your own pace and we'll just be happy to play with the toys you give us.. hehehe ;)

i have a question for cchargin or better yet a request..

 

would you be interested in taking a look at the xbox's .mdl/mdx files?

they shouldn't be all that different from the pc but they would need to be cracked. not to mention the animation too....

 

as an xbox modder, i get allot of xbox users asking me if i can create characters like cound dooku or can i create new lightsabers and so on.. I tell them "no - the tools for that are only for the pc version, not the xbox" but it would be nice if there was a mdlops that could read the xbox graphics..

 

if you're intersted and have the time, i could send whatever xbox kotor/kotorII files you'll need more likely the the model, mdx and texture files, that is if you're interested, send me a private message so we can arrange the time...

Hello all,

 

I know it has been a while since I started this post, so I thought I would give a status update.

 

The animations were a bit more tricky than I expected. Right now I can do:

binary -> ascii -> binary -> nwmax

and everything works. But when I do:

binary -> ascii -> binary -> kotor

It doesn't work. The game does not crash, but the animations don't seem to work.

 

I am still grinding away at it. Once I get a model working in kotor then I can try to figure out work arounds for lightsaber blades and emitters...

 

And no I have not been playing Civilization 4 for 6 hours everyday! I only play 5.5 hours everyday. ;)
