Darkkender
What type of modding are you looking at doing? If it involves scripting then you'll need nwnnsscomp from Fred Tetra's site as well. For easy script writing and saving you can also download my NSSEditor or LoneFerrets KscriptEditor.
L0rdReV@n88
im mostly only going to do item creation like robes and lightsaber but later i might get into that
Darkkender
Then what you have downloaded will be fine however you will need some sort of image editing software such as GIMP. You won't need the mapinfo.bfd unless you plan to start tackling module area creation. Also for gmax you will need to get the NWMax plugin. The Doctor
Photoshop and the others are all well and good, but they can get pricy. I use paint.exe on mods I do. They aren't "OMG AMAZING MOD!!!LOLONEONE!!!!" quality, but they are alright. I'm trying to upload them onto pcgamemods, but they won't work. Det. Bart Lasiter
You can also use Paint .NET, it now has targa support (the format for KotOR). Just google 'Paint .NET' and download v2.5 or above
