I need help. i am SERIOUSLY considering buying star wars galaxies but i need opinions on how you would rate the game

I really advise you save your money theres not really much to do in game after the initial quests except grind *which is a very long and boring process now*.

 

Hardly anyone is playing it any more so finding groups is pretty hard and most of the citys are empty with empty shops too *there is hardly any Traders in game*.

 

Just take a look at the official forums *CLICK theres tons of bugs and other problems too.

 

Its really not worth it and it seems the game will be shut down soon with the 1000+ people who have left the game.

 

Save your money and buy knights of the old republic or battlefront 2 if you want a starwars game because you wont find it here

It's not Star Wars. It's a bunch of Jedi running around doing whatever they want. And it's supposedly in a time when Jedi are all but extinct.

If you really want an MMORPG fix, get guild wars - not only can you buy it a budget price now but its FREE to play online.... thats right FREE. and its not too bad at all and theres still quite a lot of people playing.

galaxies is a piece of crap. It has very few redeeming features, if any.

Galaxies is the only Star Wars game I'd say no to. If you really want a good MMO, get Guild Wars. It has no Monthly Fee.

I hate SOE and I am currently playing SWG but I am getting board of it and playing old games like Medal of Honor Allied Assault. But sometimes I do enjoy flying in space and collecting ships. I myself have complained to SOE lots and lots of times but I have faith that someday SWG will become as good as any other game and not piece of crap (tho highly unlikely). So my advice is to join and help the SWG community.. But if you dont I cant blame you.
