Renegade Angel Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I say Disnet is desperate to attract older kids. I mean.... That's so Raven, Boy meets World... Pathetic.
Lathain Valtiel Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Ehhh, I'd rather watch it first before knocking the idea. No idea should be immune to editorial changes. *Chuckles at the related Pooh bear doll whining story*
Mike Windu Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 I say Disnet is desperate to attract older kids. I mean.... That's so Raven, Boy meets World... Pathetic. Cept Boy Meets World rocks...
Renegade Angel Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Think think think.... I still can't beleive they're going to ruin a classic.
El Sitherino Posted December 10, 2005 Author Posted December 10, 2005 Well, you forget that we can simply choose not to watch. And besides, aren't we all a little old to be watching shows like this? Some members have kids, you know. Not to mention some of us, despite our age, still have a fondness for things we grew up with.
narfblat Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 Disney dropped the Hunny.[/pooh] I wasn't a real big fan of winnie, but I think their changes are stupid.
StormHammer Posted December 11, 2005 Posted December 11, 2005 I guess nothing's sacred any more. They milk the franchise for all it's worth - then Pooh on it from a great height in order to squeeze every last buck out of it. Here's an idea...why don't they come up with SOMETHING ORIGINAL instead of remoulding a classic to fit their corporate vision? :/
toms Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 but the feeling was these timeless characters really needed a breath of fresh air that only the introduction of someone new could provide Well they aren't that timeless than are they??? muppets. That said, the original Disney Winny the Pooh was horendously americanised and kind of wrecked the thing anyway.. so each additional desecration has become less and less bothersome to me. THe fact disney is so adamant about turning its back on traditional animation that it actually seems to be trying to prove it's prophecy by actively killing 2d animation is a shame. Other, better artists have proven that 2d is a media that still has a lot of appeal...
Kain Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Yea but children are stupid and like 3D animation...because they're stupid...stupid kids.
