Astrotoy7
those things are expensive arent they ?? I know a friend who teaches metalwork who could knock one together for a fraction of the price they do look hella cool tho. I would like Mara Jade's lightsaber meself, which Master Replicas make IIRC. mtfbwya
Ztalker
Does anyone know a good site to get some cheaper then the a-social amount that Starwars.com is asking (might as well donate a kidney). I'm no collector, but a nice saber hilt haning on the wall will be cool ^^
Emperor Devon
Those things may look cool, but in my opinion, they're a total waste of money. I have a friend who got one of them, and all you can do with the thing is listen to some sound effects, comment on how realistic it looks, and put it up on display. That isn't worth even $50. Jeff
I think they're pretty cool. I want to get a Darth Vader one
El Sitherino
I loves me my Vader FX saber, next on the list is ep3 anakin saber and the Darth Maul. Ever since they first announced they were going to make Maul's saber 5 months ago, I've been salivating.
deathdisco
Those aren't that expensive, around $120 (probably double for the Maul one). The pricy ones are the limited edition faithful reproductions of the movie props(hilt, no blade). They're about $370.
Ztalker
That's rediculously expensive :s I thought Lucas Arts contained all the SW money-fetishists of George Lucas. I didn't expect it to be this expensive. Does anyone know where i can get a good, nice, (not to expensive) one?

lord ignarn
There are some quite good at Master replicas. They are expensive, but their prices are lower than the ones from the official shop, and they have lowered some of the prices.
MdKnightR
^^^^cool! I want to get a Mace Windu model.
Ztalker
Are the scaled models smaller then the normal hilts, or just lower quality? Because i realy like the Anakin Ep 3 saber... It only costs 35 dollar..
Aurora Merlow
They look awesome, would love to get the Obiwan lightsabre from revenge of the sith. I think they are worth the price. Is Ebay the best place to get one? ^^^^cool! I want to get a Mace Windu model. absolutely agree
Jeff
The scaled models are smaller than a lightsaber would really be. I don't think it's worth it to get one of those.
El Sitherino
It's best to just buy the FX sabers new. It's not like you get them that much cheaper off eBay. Plus I can assure you nothing smells better than a brand new lightsaber.
Bob Lion54
^^^ Just don't turn it on while you're sniffing it![/stupid joke] The scaled models are smaller than a lightsaber would really be. I don't think it's worth it to get one of those. I donno. I have a few football mini-helmets. They are great for decoration. I guess lightsabres are a bit different since most people are going to want to play with them, but if all you want is a display, then they are pretty cool. Full size is better, though. I was playing with an FX Sabre at Best Buy. Pretty cool, but damn expensive. I was almost tempted to buy the Obi-Wan sabre. (I think it was Obi-Wan. It was blue.) Must admit, would like to have a brand knew lightsabre just out of the package than one that someone else has already used
