Dr Edison 007 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 From 'Monkey's Violating the Heavenly Temples' in the Epic Collection.
SyntheticGerbil Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Hey how come this didn't appear as new? But thank you. I think I have seen this then. I don't like their browns.
Dr Edison 007 Posted January 2, 2006 Author Posted January 2, 2006 Here's one from Night of the Cringing Wildebeest in the Epic Collection. The Sam quote about the corndog salesman "taking the fall" made me laugh the hardest I think I ever have. I don't know why, but its prolly my favorite Sam n' Max cell ever.
SyntheticGerbil Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 Bang! That corndog has a white spot in the middle on the bottom panel.
itchythesamurai Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 Bang! That corndog has a white spot in the middle on the bottom panel. That baffles me, I'm just gonna assume it represents that Sam took a chunk out of that area of the corndog.
JBlink Posted January 5, 2006 Posted January 5, 2006 My favorite part is the lil' Max in the corner saying "bang".
Jake Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 The color of Sam in those comics is pretty odd, plus the color eats a lot of the detail of the illustrations.
itchythesamurai Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Hey, didn't there used to be a black shirt with Max popping out like in the scan whilst screaming, "BOOGA! BOOGA!" ?
Jake Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Yes: http://www.samandmax.net/index.php?section=comicography&page=closeups
TheCartonist Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 Here in Holland we miss the paper version of the commic. Are there more scanns available on the net?
SyntheticGerbil Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Yes I will scan the whole book for you, the "paper" version. Stay tuned here and I will post the scans soon. Thanks!
Samnmax221 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Hey, a thread by the fag who pretended to be Setion.
itchythesamurai Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I think Holland could have picked a better ambassador for LucasForums. And there's no such thing as a cartonist!
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I think Holland could have picked a better ambassador for LucasForums. And there's no such thing as a cartonist! Hey **** you buddy my brother was a cartonist.
Samnmax221 Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Hey **** you buddy my brother was a cartonist. Then he played with Radon, poor guy.
TheCartonist Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I get it, the second o was shot by Max :-)
itchythesamurai Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 Guess cartonists are even poorer than cartoonists, eh? Can't afford that extra vowel. Sorry lot of sods.
TheCartonist Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 Has someone s bigger version of this picture?
itchythesamurai Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 I can make it bigger, but quality would suffer...
TheCartonist Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 Yep, I like a bigger scan, with more details....
Shmargin Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 If memory serves me, that came from one of two places, either an old copy of "Adventurer" the little magazine/catalogs that used to come with LucasArts games, or it came on something with Hit The Road, like the manual or something. I could be wrong, but I know I've seen that on paper somewhere, and for some reason Hit the Road jumps out at me as where. I'll snoop around my box of old Lucas games and Adventurer magazines and see what I can find.
itchythesamurai Posted October 27, 2006 Posted October 27, 2006 Woah, I just checked my My Pictures folder, and I've had that exact image saved since July 26, 2003. Thought it looked familiar. Still no idea where it came from though.
SyntheticGerbil Posted October 28, 2006 Posted October 28, 2006 It's definetly not in the manual. I think it's a promo image for the TV show because Max has that rat gun he used in the Bigfoot episode.
