Lord Valenta Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I just couldnt take it anymore. i went to Electronic Boutique and reserved my copy. has anyone else done that?
Darth Alec Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I can't, there are no stores here that take reservations. And I live in a small city (compared to most) so most haven't even ordered for the game.
Jason91 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I haven't i don't have the money and it won't be till febuary till my intrest comes out :'( so i gota wait till then
BattleDamage Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I can't, there are no stores here that take reservations. And I live in a small city (compared to most) so most haven't even ordered for the game. What are you afraid of amazon.com? Yep, I got mine just before christmas.
Jeff Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Nah. I'll just go buy it on the first day. I did it with KotOR II, I'm confident this one won't be sold out either.
Snafu7 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I haven't pre-ordered it yet, but I might still do it, other wise I'll just pick it up on release day.
xSiri_Tachix Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 No. I'm waiting until I buy my computer in the next 20-30 days or so.
star wars lover Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I reserved the Collecter's Edition, but getting it at the regular one price since I traded in one of my games...lol
swphreak Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Nah, I'll just walk into a store and buy a copy. Not really interested in the collector's edition. Prices are high enough as it is.
THrawn((9 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 i'm on;y going to reserve a copy if this Demo is cool if it is i will order it from Amazon if not i'll go into Town to buy it.
killerluk Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 i will also only buy if the demo is convinces me that the game offers enough star wars feeling. If it dont i might grab it way later in a budget release version lol
popcorn2008 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Not really interested in the collector's edition. Prices are high enough as it is. Same here. But I did pre-order it from lucas art's official store . I had preordered mine way back in Augest before they had it for preorder anywhere else. lol, also got overnight shipping the whole works. I can't wait for this game!
Bob Lion54 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I voted no. There's no need to. Walmart will have enough copies, so I don't have to worry about them selling out.
aggie_john Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I voted yes, despite it all this looks to be the best overall star wars rts game ever.
Darth Alec Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 What are you afraid of amazon.com? No, but I'm a minor and need parent consent to do it. And as they have a strong disbelife in net-ordering (got cheated of about 1000 usd over the net, but we got it back), it is impossible for me.
BattleDamage Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 wow that sucks alot. No net ordering whatsoever. How do you manage?
Jeff Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 wow that sucks alot. No net ordering whatsoever. How do you manage? Buy things in stores. But seriously, I hardly ever order over the internet, and I'm able to get things that I want in stores instead.
Darth_Extas Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I reserved My copy as well, am looking forward to the demo to see how much I might modify the actual game... Or if anything how I am going to play the game itself.
Lew Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 WAIT for the demo or post-release reviews. Right now the only information is hype and marketing. The truth comes out on release day.
MavsRevenge Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 I Pre-ordered mine last month at Eb but at the time I wasn't given a choice between Collectors and Regular. Does anyone know whats in the Collectors edition other than it being a DVD?
popcorn2008 Posted January 10, 2006 Posted January 10, 2006 No......not enough money. I had the opposite problem actually. In Augest I actually had about 70ish dollars to splurge so I thought I better preorder the game now before I spend all my money.
