Interesting Illusion

Look at this image... then slowly walk away from the screen and look at the image from afar.

I'm thinking this has something to do with the sharp or blur of either image either way this is strange

I notice that if I look at it using only my left eye, and than look at it using only the left, I see the image changes a little bit.

Wow, that is interesting. I think it has alot to do with the diffrent shades of either image. Notice the dark shade under the second picture's lips, and the dark shades under the eyes of the first picture. When these images are blurred, either by your eyes or even by photoshop, the finer details like the the lines of the lips, are blurred out and replaced by the subtle shades that then make up the diffrent shapes you see, so that the image flips.

 

Very intuitive.

 

I also liked this illusion:

 

The moving gap turns into a green dot, and if you stare long enough, the green dot actually "erases" all the pink dots so that theres only a rotating green dot on a dark background.

you have to get pretty far away, but eventually the images will swap. The angry one will be on the right, and the normal one on the left.
