IG-64 Posted April 13, 2006 Share Posted April 13, 2006 Wow, that is interesting. I think it has alot to do with the diffrent shades of either image. Notice the dark shade under the second picture's lips, and the dark shades under the eyes of the first picture. When these images are blurred, either by your eyes or even by photoshop, the finer details like the the lines of the lips, are blurred out and replaced by the subtle shades that then make up the diffrent shapes you see, so that the image flips. Very intuitive. I also liked this illusion: The moving gap turns into a green dot, and if you stare long enough, the green dot actually "erases" all the pink dots so that theres only a rotating green dot on a dark background.
