I've seen it twice now, I saw it at the midnight showing and then on Sunday because one of my friends hadn't seen it yet. I actually enjoyed it pretty well. The one thing that I thought could have been done better is the character development. The movie was only ~1:45, so they could have done much more with Angel and Iron Man I thought, as well as some of the others. It seemed like they tried to squeeze too much in to a short movie, when they could have made it longer and more in-depth.

I also had a problem with a little of the dialogue, some of it was good but some sounded rather cheesy.

Hmmm, since nobody has mentioned this, and it seems like some didn't notice I'll say it. Watch the end scene just before the credits roll where Magneto is playing chess. You'll see

him pointing at the chess piece and it almost imperceptibly moves. Apparently the "cure" isn't as permanent as the others thought. So all those that were cured will likely get their powers back. I was pretty pissed till I saw the end scene

I saw it twice. The first time I was decently happy though not thrilled. It aged better for the second showing. Fewer "huh" moments. Better grasp of what is essentially a poorly plotted story, and not pissed off at what I covered in my spoiler.

I was thinking this as well Seeker, but I really didn't want to be the only one stating parts of the movie... there are ooly a couple others doing the same. There still seems that there will be a 4th Movie, but like I've said before "the actors have stated this one will be the last movie".

As with the death of "Phoenix" Do you think she will come back? The legendary bird "Phoenix" Rebirths after it's death. Toad is shown for a split second in the movie... but is never seen again which is slightly less filling. They finally have ArchAngel in this one but he isn't a Vital part in the Movie.

Angel or ArchAngel, Phoenix or Dark Phoenix, Cyclops or that Uber Cyclops, Weapon X or Wolverine it's the same Character only altered.

PS: Like I said in another post "Funny ignore my posts until it seems I've said something stupid. I'm not surprised."

Okay, I thought it was good-ish. Definitely the weakest chapter in the series, though. Still worth seeing on the big screen if you're a fan of the movie series.

I don't see how they can do a fourth one. X3 was all about Storm and Wolverine on the good-guy side, and they've killed off/cured almost everyone else. Meh. I liked it better when Magneto was more of a misguided-crusader type rather than the flared-nostrilled, bulging-eyed villain. Meh. Vinnie Jones as Juggernaut was no Mystique. Beast...mmm not bad.

Iron Man

You mean Colossus :p This is Piotr Rasputin, not Tony Stark. As a matter of fact, why doesn't he have a russian accent? Just for fun's sake :D

The movie was enjoyable, but not that great. I can't believe everyone is saying that it's the last movie, it's just way too open. In the case of Angel, I thought that he would play a bigger role. Turns out he doesn't.

Anyway, it's not even a decent conclusion, but the action was good and why in hell did they not include Beast earlier? Kelsey Grammer rules.

EDIT: Oh and Juggernaut gave me a good laugh :D

Iron Man can't believe I missed that one... come to think of it Colossus didn't have an accent in X2 either. Yes this is Waaaay too open and has too may loose ends... maybe for this Wolverine Movie some of the other members have been talking about, but there should be a X4 movie before this.. perhaps they are trying to mislead us so it'll be a big surprise when they release it(???).

This bothered me because that meant the majority of the film's plot was for naught.

What about the end with magento when he's playing chess? I know what he does but I better not spoil it for the ones that haven't seen it

Just saw it, thought it was great but there was too much focus on the new evil mutants and hardly any focus on the mutants that have been in the adverts. Some characters were also really underused such as rogue, it's as if she came in for the first minute and went to the shops only to just in time come back in at the end.

Plus i though to many peeps died. I liked it at the very end after the credits, you more or less get to interpret that video Xavior was showing to his class about the transfer of a concionse into a another person. Also, it was clear that the mutant x cure didn't work because on the video that showed human Mystique, her eyes glowed like when she impersonates someone. Plus, was anyone else confused at the ending of the film like wheredid that boy go who produced a cure, he disapepared quickly. Also, how did magneto move that chess piece, bit rare to have a chess piece made of metal???

I for one never even noticed him move the chess piece. I agree with HerbieZ, all the characters (except Nightcrawler) were there, but most of them barely even made an appearance (Angel, advertised as important, but in fact a completely unnecessary character; Rogue, who appears about three times in the movie; Mystique, she could have had a bigger role, etc.).
