igyman
Same here! Never read a SW book, or a comic, I don't think they are even sold in my country. I have a strong conviction that SW is great for movies and games, but, regardless of the quality of the drawing, it's not a good comic book and even worse as a book, though I'm sure all you people who read SW books and comics would probably crucify me for saying this, if you ever met me. Hallucination
^It doesn't matter what the content is, it's the skill of the author that's important. And yeah, some are very good while others aren't worth the paper they're written on. But that's your opinion.
igyman
You make a good point. My opinion would probably change, if I read a SW book, but that probably won't happen, since, like I said, I don't think they're being sold in my country.
The Source
hey guys, ive been thinking, since there are various levels of fans here like hardcore, casual, etc, i was wondering, what would you do if sombody passed an insult or a demeaning joke about Star Wars? vote above. RC-1162
igyman, personally, the books' quality depends on the author's skill. for example: Jedi Trial and Survivor's Quest were my favourite non-movie books. However, if you read the NJO series, you'll want to just rip the author to shreds, i mean, thats just a whole load of crap.

There was an Attack of the Show or X-Play (don't remember which one) episode which interviewed the hardcore fans at a Star Wars premiere... let's just say teh Vulc4n P0wn7 them;)
MachineCult
Anyone who would find it necessary to make some sort of insult or joke about Star Wars would undoubtedly be a total moron, probably saying something along the lines of "Huhuhuh Star Wars is gay". LordReserei
personally I'd ask him or her why they insulted or made a demeaning joke about Star Wars and argue. For example, if they said it sucks I'd say "how does it suck , star wars had major influences in military, medical and other fields" and stuff like that.
