lukeiamyourdad
I don't trust. It's a good starting point to get some basic information but not good enough to be considered a citable source. If only scholars, with good backgrounds, could modify its content, then yes, but since anyone can change anything, the percentage of stumbling upon some false information or simply innaccurate one is much higher. I usually check it out to verify some basic elements, then look for other articles that might contradict the info given from wikipedia. By the way, I've seen some imbeciles trying to quote wikipedia in a paper. Don't or you're going to get a bad grade.

Sabretooth
I trust Wikipedia seriously, because I am an active contributor to it and because it has a very open, yet firm policing strategy and almost all pages are very informative and make a good point of reference.
