Darth Reign
I don't think so, Jae. Anakin was consume to much by the darkside, at that point. And I bet he really hated and was highly furious with anger at Obi-Wan for choping his arms and legs off. Was Anakin consumed by the darkside? Was he conflicted with what he had done? Can this moment be translated differently?
RC-1162
you could clearly see his eyes change colour to yellow are he looked up at obi wan, just before he shouted "i hate you" at the latter. only sithy boys have yellow eyes, so yeah, anakin was consumed by the Dark Side at that point. TSR
And it was also some of the dryest acting ever done by a child in the universe...
RC-1162
agreed. not to mention Jake Lloyd. it seems anakin got the worst actors yet, although they can't be fully blamed.
TSR
I was talking about the kid. I thought Anakin did a pretty good job tbh.
Prime
He might if they supported the Republic, his main allegiance was to the "Republic/democracy."But we know the Jedi always attempt to destroy the Sith. And my point was that as far as Kenobi and Yoda were concerned, Anakin was dead and there was only Vader. So after the battle Kenobi wouldn't see it as helping Anakin. PoiuyWired
Well, if there is a choice between "Old Jedi Order" and a "True Republic" then I think Obi may actually think of going for the Republic side instead. THough this would be just a theory, as we all know it Obi discovered the Republic is not what it is anymore way before 66.
Allronix
What if Mace had succeeded in killing Palpatine I have that scenario playing in my head a lot. Anakin gets caught in traffic or something and comes in just as Palpatine is missing a head and Mace has left the building. The Jedi succeed in taking over the Republic - and using Palpatine's own laws to give the Council the same emergency powers the Chancellor's office held. From there, the Jedi Council and the Clone troopers start a top to bottom purge to rid the Republic of Palpatine's influence, and clear out the corruption that led to the Sepratist crisis. Hundreds of Senators end up arrested on charges of treason - including Padme Amidala. Needless to say, Anakin gets this news and is boiling mad. His friend is dead by lightsaber and his wife's arrested?! Worse, they do a DNA test while she's in prison and add "corruption of a Jedi" to her list of charges. Windu and Yoda are going full-tilt on the charge to cleanse the Republic. Kenobi is skeptical, as are a lot of the rank and file Knights. The will of the Council must be obeyed, but they aren't terribly confortable with it. Anakin leads an unsuccessful attempt to break Padme and the other senators out of jail. Unfortunately, she's injured in the process and goes into labor and he's driven away, spiralling to the Dark Side. "Remember what you created this day!" he shrieks before he is shot dead by a battallion of Clone Troopers. In the end, the Senate is dissolved, and the Jedi Council placed in charge of the Republic indefinitely, with the Clone troopers under their direct command. The twins are born and Padme dies. Yoda looks over them both. "Jedi they are, and Jedi they will be...the perfect Jedi. Nothing will they know of their birth, or each other..." Meanwhile, the Jedi Council looks out over the New Republic dawn...and fail to realize they have become the very thing they swore to destroy. Pho3nix
I have a hard time believing that Yoda and Mace Windu would end up being corrupt. In my head the younger Jedi's are the ones that get tempted with the power and perhaps become more interested in Sith learnings when they start believing less and less in the elder Jedi. PoiuyWired
Well, Mace being corrupted may happen... He is always skirting the boundaries of using rightous anger with his l33t skillz. Now, a DS Yoda would be improbable, though deadly.
HK-42
I am not sure if Anakin ever possess Force Lightning; I never seen him use when he became Darth Vader either. Force Choke seem to be one of his powers. Also he had Force Crush. Which I saw in the Clone Wars cartoon. Anakin could use force lightning after training but when he lost his other hand he could not ever do it.

PoiuyWired
Anakin could use force lightning after training but when he lost his other hand he could not ever do it. Technically you don't need a hand to shoot lightning, a tail or feet or something else would work also. Si technically he can shoot lightning from his stumpy limb. The thing being the arms and legs used to build Vader's tincan interrupts his ability to use Sith lightning. As for shooting lightning from the mouth/nose/weewee/etc, thats too much anime watching. Star Wars characters does not go "chargin' mah' lazer" and blast beams off their mouths.
