TSL Imperial Knight Mod ======================= Modder: -------- PRIME Website: warpedproductions.echonetwork.net Description: ------------ This mod adds armour, gear, and lightsaber used by the Imperial Knights from the Star Wars: Legacy comics from Dark Horse. These items are usable by most NPC characters as well as the PC. The Imperial Knights were an order of Force-users loyal to Emperor Roan Fel of the New Galactic Empire in 130 ABY. They were fully trained in the ways of the Force, but the New Jedi Order saw them as Gray Jedi, as they swore loyalty to the Emperor above all else, including their devotion to the will of the Force. The list of files is as follows: Script files: 610dan.are - config file for Jedi enclave sublevel imp_loc_spawn.ncs - compiled script to add items to the game in a locker imp_loc_spawn.nss - script source footlker099.utp - locker to hold items Imperial Knight Armour: a_robe_77.uti - robe item config file ia_ClassZS_077.tga - icon PFBM77.tga - armour texture for female armour PMBM77.tga - armour texture for male armour Imperial Knight Gauntlets: a_gloves_77.uti - gauntlet config file ii_Gauntlet_077.tga - icon Imperial Knight Belt: a_belt_77.uti - belt configuration file ii_Belt_077.tga - icon Imperial Knight Lightsaber: g_w_lghtsbr98.uti - lightsaber config file iw_Lghtsbr_098.tga - icon w_lghtsbr_098.mdl - model file w_lghtsbr_098.mdx - model file w_Lghtsbr_098.tga - texture w_lghtsbr_098.txi - shader config file Imperial Knight Crystal: u_l_colo_98.uti - crystal config file upcrystals.2da - adds the Imperial Knight crystal iw_sbrcrstl_098.tga - icon Installation: ------------- The armour and items can be installed in by the following steps: 1. Extract all the files into the Override folder in the The Sith Lords directory. The files will be placed inside their own directory in there. If using WinZip, ensure that the "use folder names" option is selected. This will result in a "jedi robes" directory appearing in the Override directory that will contain all the files. This allows the robes and armour to be found during the course of the game. 2. Using the "giveitem" cheat command (Optional!) This method will add the armour and items to the player character's inventory. To enable cheats, in your game directory edit swkotor.ini and under [Game Options] add EnableCheats=1. Start the game then when playing press ' to bring down the console prompt, which is not visible. At the console prompt, type "giveitem <item name>" to add the item to the inventory. The item names are: Imperial Knight Armour - a_robe_77 Imperial Knight Belt - a_belt_77 Imperial Knight Gauntlets - a_gloves_77 Imperial Knight Lightsaber - g_w_lghtsbr98 Imperial Knight Crystal - u_l_colo_98 These can then be equiped by the player and NPCs with the appropriate requirements from the inventory screen. Uninstall --------- Simply remove all the files from the Override directory. Modding Information: -------------------- One 2DA configuration file has been altered from the original game. The following is information that can be used to combine this mod with others that affect the same files. You will require the kotor_tool to merge these files. upcrystals.2da line 14 - added Imperial Knight crystal information Known Issues: ------------- If you encounter issues, please report them to the email address specified above. I will do what we can to correct them. The Imperial Knight crystal will only "create" an Imperial Knight lightsaber if placed in a regular lightsaber. Putting the crystal in a short or double saber will just result in a regular short or double saber. NOTE: if you already have a modified upcrystals.2da file in your Override directory, DO NOT replace those with the versions included in this mod. This will have undesirable affects on the other mods. You will have to choose which mod you want to use. Or you can use the modding information included in this readme (see Modding Information) and the kotor_tool to merge them. Acknowledgements: ----------------- Thanks to Fred Tetra for creating the truly fantastic kotor editing tool. Also a appreciative shout out to the many friendly folks at the Lucasforums' Holowan Laboratories board who have provided guidance and insight as well as answering numerous questions. Finally, thanks to Bioware for making a truly kick ass game... Conditions: ----------- This mod is not supported in any way by Lucasarts or Bioware. You may edit or modify these files for your own personal use. If you wish to use any or all of these files for you own public mod, please contact PRIME for permission at the email addresses at the beginning of this file. If I grant permission, please give me credit and include this readme file with your mod. I will not be granting permission to do simple recolouring of the textures. Enjoy! As always, questions and comments are welcome.

CedricFP
Is it only possible to get the armor from "giveitem" cheat, or has it been incorporated into random loot?
RedHawke
Is it only possible to get the armor from "giveitem" cheat, or has it been incorporated into random loot? It is always a good bet to read a mods readme file as they usually include this information... 1.
