Brothers in Arms. No contest for me.

I started out with Medal of Honor, mostly because of the awesome Omaha Beach landing segment (I feel abit wierd for saying that about such a horrid thing, but ... :eyes3: ), then switched to Call of Duty and then Call of Duty 2, but switched again when Brothers in Arms came out, and haven't looked back since. :)

Sure, if you mean killing hundreds of germans single handedly, having regenerating life energy and some invulnerable comrades at your side.

That's why there is MP. I challenge you! I'm really good at CoD3 online. I used to be with CoD2, but 3 is much better.

hmmm... i started my WW2 gaming addiction with MEdal of Honor, which stuck with me until the tradgedy taht was rising sun. Then i bought call of duty Finest hour, and i absolutely lovedit. Bought a brothers in arms game, road to hill 30 i think. I struggle to remember the name as it was in my xbox no more than 10 mins before being returned for a refund, which i then used to buy COD: BRO. I've stuck with COD ever since, and havn't looked back.

@Jebbers: Do you speak of COD3 online, xbox classic? If so,may i say that i join this challenge, as i am a little bit of a game demon on it myself :D

hmm... It never fails to baffle when "realistic" is a word used to describe a VIDEO GAME about a horrific thing such as war. Rubbish.

War isnt 'awesome' :(

My parents fled to Australia to escape the civil war in Cyprus. Both of my grandfathers also served in WW2 with British(Colonial) forces chasing Rommel around Africa. Their stories about their experiences were simply terrifying, even now. Getting shot at in a computer game somehow isnt the same... :(

(Most of us, including myself) are very lucky to be in a situation where our lives have never been threatened by actual(not virtual nor perceived) war.

Sure, a game can be fun, but its only a game at the end of the day. I have only ever played COD2 because I have an interest in the Normandy Campaign. I know other games cover this but that was all I wanted to see really.. I have had the privelege of meeting some D-Day vets on a couple of occasions(US and German). Amazing chaps. Not all German soldiers were 'Evil Nazis' by any stretch of the imagination.

Well BiA is very realistic, and cool. I like the whole tactical shooting idea and playing the game actually needs a brain and more than some fast wrists and twitchy fingers.

But when it comes to downright fun gameplay, CoD owns. I found using guns more satisfying in CoD, so Call of Duty wins for me, though I will always have a soft spot for BiA. Man, I have to sequels for both games...
