How many of these do you remember?

The 7 Most Useless Transformers

Edit: Added for Prime's and Redhawke's enjoyment.

The other downside to Soundwave is that, when he's not out being a giant robo-narc, he's a cassette player. We stopped needing a cassette player in like the early '90s. Can you even name a single person who owns a cassette tape anymore? If we want some tunes, we can just use the mp3 player on our niece's camera phone.

Did you hear that, Soundwave? Our 7-year-old niece's camera phone is a more impressive Transformer than you.

Okay, well I'm tired, and simply too exhausted to read through everyone's comments so I'll just say what I thought of it:

Effin' AMAZING.

Those special effects were crazy good. Not once in the whole movie did I ever think to myself "I'm watching special effects" like I did in Spider-Man 3.

It took them 38 hours to do one frame of work for the Transformers, and I can see where the work went. ILM does it again. They're the Pixars of CGi.

The acting was overall superb. A few people didn't seem totally convincing, but they were either extremely hot or minor characters, so that's no biggie. And, I generally don't judge that too big in a movie like this (where there's a ton of CG) because they're acting with something that's not there.

Its a shame that Grindhouse, 300, Hot Fuzz, and this had to come out in the same year because I can't pick a favorite.

EDIT: And lets admit it. Who didn't walk out of that theater and want an Autobot or Decepticon right then and there? I seriosuly walked out and I was hoping really, really bad to see Optimus Prime come up to me.

I almost pissed myself laughing at #1's description.

"Then they send out non-transforming appliances, then, when out of options, they send him out." Or something like that. Great find.

On-Topic: It is a great movie, awesome, I only have a couple of cons, its length is insane, 2hr 20min! Calm down, kinda like Pirates 3 length.

And Optimus is too weak in the movie, he gets done like a thanks-giving dinner by Megatron. And I never knew they were brothers!

All in all, 8.5/10.

Yeah but is it brother cause they were actual brothers or brother because they're both Transformers and even though he's a Decepticon, Optimus recognises that he's been killing his own kind and has remorse over it?...
IIRC from the prequel comic they were literally brothers, and joint "rulers" on Cybertron.

What is wrong with the people of our society?! Can our attention spans be kept for only an hour and half long movie?! 2:20 is nothing! What about Titanic? Braveheart? The Godfather(s)?

><

But, I do wish Optimus would have been stronger. It was cool when he

killed that one Decepticon by shoving a sword up his face.

@Jedi_Knight_707:I've seen the Godfather, and other long movies such as Pirates 3 and the LotR trilogy. But I needed to take a leak and I didn't wanna miss the movie plus I need to walk around a bit, sitting to long makes me uncormfortable.

And 227 min! Holy $h1t!
