Lord XZantor Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 So, you think someone in George Lucas' family( he doesn't want to) should make another movie, or should they leave it as it is, and continue with the books, and new shows I hear are coming out?
Jvstice Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Maybe in another 20 years set in one of the other eras, but I don't think they should touch that for another generation at least.
Jvstice Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 tv series is a good idea. But I don't like the idea of other movies by other people yet.
Titanius Anglesmith Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 No more movies. There's no need. And George has said that he won't make anymore movies, so if he doesn't give the rights to someone else, no one else will be allowed.
*USA* Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 I would like to see more movies, but as far as a producer, I think that George Lucas will find a great man for the job.
Druganator Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 episodes 7 8 and 9 maybe except they would have to find new actors cuz everyone else is old and fat or dead
Gurges-Ahter Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I would absolutely love to see Episodes 7, 8, and 9, but I just don't see how it's feasible with all of the actors being so old now. Plus I think Lucas is a little scared of a third trilogy receiving the same type of (often unwarranted) criticism the prequels did.
Astor Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 I don't think that the actors are too old - If they were to set it post YV war, then they'd all be about the right age - Han is around 60-70 then, and Harrison Ford is what, 63? So there is room for the same actors, especially in the right time period. They're all perfect for anything past 30 ABY.
Druganator Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 or they could make it with new actors like the way they did the obi-wan thing but they could still use the palpatine dude if they did the emporer reborn spiel

That's a good deduction, I hope they do it, it would be nice to see Harrison as Han again...
Relenzo2 Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 There isn't enough creative space to make more movies without them being... you know... crap.
Gurges-Ahter Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 There isn't enough creative space to make more movies without them being... you know... crap. That, and anything 30 years ABY is not what most people would be looking for. I think most people would prefer something 1-5 years ABY, which just isn't really possible without new actors - and that would suck.
M@RS Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Just put a lot of make up on the actors, Lucas is a pro he could figure something out...
Serpentine Cougar Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Just put a lot of make up on the actors, Lucas is a pro he could figure something out... Maybe they'd all be completely CG...
Rev7 Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 I think that it would be great to see some more movies. I think the movies are great. However, I don't think that it is very likely. GL has already stated that he isn't going to make anymore movies, soooooo.....
Druganator Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 after episode 3 he sed "i'm not making anymore movies" yet i think there's a movie coming out august 15th.....
Astor Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 after episode 3 he sed "i'm not making anymore movies" yet i think there's a movie coming out august 15th..... There is, but it's not an official part of the Star Wars 'Saga', as it doesn't have an 'Episode XX' title. That's what he meant when he said he wasn't making any more movies.

darkjedimonkey Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 theyll do it in like 2139. and they will computer generate characters and hologram them onto ppls faces. so brad pitt can still be in movies.

That's what he meant when he said he wasn't making any more movies. ok i retract my previous statement but i think the jedi academy trilogy would make good movies except they are too far after 4 5 and 6
Djidara Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 i think that series would be great. something different from star trek alike series, more like heroes with one plot. like that they can make story with minimum crap in it. new movies is not such a good idea i think. i dont want mat damon as luke skywalker or something like that ^^ i would like to see mark hamill again, but as old luke
darkjedimonkey Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 maybe they could do like a last crusade thing. some random problem abruptly puts lukes retirement and plans of living on dagobah on hold. he has to throw over the empire or someone at age 80.
Agent_Katarn00 Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 I would like a star wars 7 based off of the game dark forces 2 but i really don't care.I'm in for the games!:)
