Prime Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 After many delays and general slowness I'm finally getting this mod out into the world. This mod uses Xavier2's old Jedi robe model, and I've replaced all the old textures did for that back in the day. I've created 23 unique robes that are wearable by male PC and NPC characters. Some are based on movie characters, some on EU characters, and others are just made up styles. Screenshots of all the robes are included in the zip file. These robes replace the default versions that comes with the game. None of the stats have been altered from the original game, so there is no change in game balance. This mod only provides a cosmetic alteration. Instructions are included to change which texture is associated with each robe. As always you can get the mod at my site.
Ferc Kast Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 It looks very neat. I have just one question: which original Jedi robe texture did you base your robe textures on? Just so that I can know when I'm making robes in the future.
Inyri Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Not bad. There are a couple instances where you can see a hard line from using the clone stamp (prominently on the boot). If you want to avoid that I'd recommend either a soft selection, or maybe a soft brush. Then you could always blend it together with blurring/smudging with fairly good results if you know how to work it right. Otherwise I'm impressed you got the original textures looking so different. Goes to show that a simple recolor with a couple added details can really make a difference.
Jeff Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Nice Prime, I always used your original movies robe mod for KotOR and with the new textures and Xavier2's models it will be even better (if I can ever be bothered to play KotOR again ).
Prime Posted March 18, 2008 Author Posted March 18, 2008 I have just one question: which original Jedi robe texture did you base your robe textures on? Just so that I can know when I'm making robes in the future.I just used the default brown robe, and added things on top of that...

maugomale Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Sorry to resurect the thread but theres a bug when in custcenes like the Jedi traning or the victory celebration at the end the piece of flare of the robe sticks out like a spike if i say I fixed by replacing the mdx/mdl with the insidious plot mdl and mdx files but i will try to post screenies later Yeah I've seen this before, but in my case was when Zhar was watching Revan and Bastila sparring. If you could share this fix with us, it would be very much appreciated!
DeadYorick Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Wow that is just... AMAZING. Awesome work. Defiantly worth a download
Prime Posted January 5, 2009 Author Posted January 5, 2009 I haven't come across this myself, but if there is a fix for it please pass it along and I will post it on my site.
LORD SPARTAN Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 I can't be affirmative without screenshots but I think it had something to do with mesh weight. I had some similar bug in one of my model in my W.I.P. mod pack.
