Mustafar Jedi Academy (56K Ouchies)

Well, its not exactly only by me, but a Exiled Studios project, that I'm announcing (and working on >_>)

Anyways, it will be a retextured version of the Malachor Trayus Academy. There will be a quest involved, some new items (maybe new sabers, who knows?)

 

I chose Mustafar because:

1) In the old times (aka Old Republic times) it was a lush and green world that had a Jedi Academy

2) My other idea was Ossus, and the Ossus Academy was not only built After the Battle of Yavin, but, it was made of stone, and I didn't wanna do too much... :p

 

I will be using all 3 of the Academy Modules (and, hopefully, the lost area of that one module...), which excludes the Trayus Core. We've only started on it today, so not much progress has been made. I've only made 2 retextures, but that means in covers the majority of the Academy. I have a picture somewhere...

This is only a rough draft. I plan on making the red around the circles a bit... more light-side-ish. Along with the rest of the academy...

 

Rough Draft of the Quest:

You will be told on Nar Shaddaa by Zez Kai Ell that there is a Jedi Academy on Mustafar. Go there, and get some training there. I will be adding another Council Member so that you can send her (yes, her. I'm making her use one of my Custom Twileks. Or, maybe a reskinned Jana Lorso without the tattoos.) to the council on Dantooine, or kill her (but, if you kill her, the other students of the academy will attack you on the way out, similar to what happens if you kill Uthar on Korriban in K1)

 

People I need:

Male and Female Voice Actors (No Pre-determined amount. If calls for it, I will ask for more.)

Beta Testers (Depending on how complicated I make the mod, I may need 2-5)

I may need a Skybox Editor

I may also need a modeler, as I plan to have an extra module that has docking.

 

What I need:

1) I need a script that when a certain point in dialog initiates between you and Zez-Kai Ell, it'll allow you to travel to Mustafar (ie Like what Stoney did when you pick up the datapad on Korriban, that lets you travel to M4-78)

2) I also need someone to pull what DeathDisco did for the first module of his Jedi Temple Mod. In other words, I need someone to make part of a module that leads to the actual modules.

What is planned to be in mod:

5 New Modules

Voiced Dialog

A new Council Member with her own custom appearance

 

(Note - Zez-Kai Ells new dialog line will not be voiced, or spliced.)

 

Team:

TriggerGod - Main Maker. Scripts, NPC placer, dialog, most of the stuff is done by me.

Ulmont - Music Maker

Revan_Pwn_Malak - Beta Tester (if schedule permits)

RakataDark - Alpha/Beta Tester

Marius Fett - Uber Marble Floor maker.

 

EDIT1: Added a clearer picture, with the new door. Removed all NPCs

EDIT2: Added Team, added clarification to the Bug Tracker, added progress, and added 1 bug

Ummm... one suggestion based from the one pic you posted. I think if this is a Jedi academy the coloring of the walls and floors should be a little brighter.

Yeah, I plan on making the floor's (and such) texture a WHOLE lot brighter for the academy. See Here

ATM, I'm NPC placing. Before I leave, I plan to have finished much of the first area's NPC Placement, along with some of the halls leading to the 2 side modules. Right now, I have 3. In a moment, I will have... 7 :^:

 

At the end of the nite, I will have given each of the jedi an appearance, a lightsaber, decent stats, and, hopefully, some dialog.

He was here a while back, someone posted a Mustafar request and he said he was looking for a project etc and that he'd make that one..

 

I know for a fact he at least started making it, because he had someone make him an area reskin for it..

 

Still, he hasn't posted in a while, so maybe he aint doing it anymore?

 

Trig, you may want to PM him just to make sure.

 

Having two mods of the same planet would be confusing. ;)

Looking at your edit, I have no obligation to.

Also, I PMed Kender much (and I mean much) earlier (around the time both him and Chainz was MIA), and he still hasn't replied, so I doubt hes gonna reply before I finish the mod (Which will be done when its done)

EDIT: LR:

I hope to do some outside modules as well. But, at the time, Mustafar was not a Lava Planet, but a Lush and Green planet.

Scratch what I said earlier. Instead of the normal floor textures...

There will be a sexy Marble floor.
