Cmdr. Cracken
Pretty much Zergy. You'd hate me. If your not doing something, you pick up something and start doing it. Granted I ask, but if you don't, I stop asking and start ordering.
edlib
Just walked 12 miles in under 3 hours. Legs and feet are tired and sore. I really wanted to do another 5 today though...

Heh, lol and 15 is complaining about being 'told' what to do, when he want's to get back into the military. being 'asked' to do something is only a custom. I'd just get used to it, and when ya told to do something, just say 'aye aye' and hop to it mister!

Kuuki
military and retail are two entirely different things. ok then, if thats what you want to think 15. I've done 4yrs active military! but oh wait! I've worked several jobs before and after. I know you've been working at Wally-World for sometime now. And yeah with me losing my job at what ever can be differ from your plight. but still I can at least recognize the difference. Not only have I said it, but you also had Crackle (whom has subordinates) and Zarg whom first said the contrary to what you said. ([edit]And Det. Bart Lasiter said it too[/edit]) Honestly, being the one of two people whom are known to post in this thread whom I've had verbal contact with. You should know that what I said isn't out of disrespect, it's quite the opposite. It may have been in almost direct negitive comment about your situation and what you have complained about. but still, if you can't get used to a b***h like that, what do you think having woman whom is only but seven years of age on you, chew your ass cus you f***ed up, and when you should have known better? Lessons learned by experience, especially by those here, where we may bust on each other, the last thing we want to read about someone posting is how life sucks so damn much that we don't want to take any more of it? S**t! None of us is not sick of the crap we all deal with! But we don't go onto a web forum, despite the anonymous ability to one's being on the interwebs, want to read someone whom can't take the bulls**t anymore. Fact's of life man. Like a wise man once said: "It's a huge s**t sandwich, and we all gonna have to take a bite!" 15 points who guesses where it's from w/o looking it up!!! but seriously now, in the past few months all I've seen is in this thread is "whine whine whine my life sux!" crap. Honestly, compare the positives and negitives that people have posted here, and you'll notice that there's more negitives then said positives. What I'm trying to say is 15, that's life, so she's got a position higher then you. And so what if she doesn't ask you nicely. Taken from experience: get used to it. It's not going to be all honkey-dorry when you get back in, cus you'll still have to deal with people whom have more chevrons or rockers more then you telling (not asking) you what to do. In this case, she's prolly got a name tag that looks shinier then you do.
Rogue15
eh, whatever. it's just going to seem very ODD when she does leave, because no other manager i have ever had was like that (besides pizza hut manager). it's not like it's the end of the world, it's just very hard to get used to in a retail environment. anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. she's gone in 2 weeks anyway. somehow i manged to wake up early, so i'm going to hit up the track. But we don't go onto a web forum, despite the anonymous ability to one's being on the interwebs, want to read someone whom can't take the bulls**t anymore. the reason i post here is to ramble about my life and see if i can gather any advice and such. anyway.. today's the first day i've been up this early (woke up at 4:45) in a while, decided to go to the high school track and run 2 miles. think i'll try waking up every day and do this, my time really sucks on the track compared to when i was running it before doing the 3+ miles on the road. i'm considering changing to a different shoe type, these ones are 'stability' i might need to switch to 'motion control' and see which ones are better. i really shouldn't still be having pain in my shins. I'm off tomorrow, so might go hiking depending on the weather, I should be able to get some really nice pictures since the leaves haven't turned brown yet. I have tried to post the positive stuff if and when it happens... but it's pretty few and far between. Venting about the negative stuff when it occurs can be somewhat cathartic, however. My boss sometimes asks me to do ****, other times yells at me from teh other room to go do something right now. take the good with the bad, like you said, bitch is gone in 2 weeks! got alot done in the garage this weekend. few more things to do till I can hopefully stop having to futz with the house much till spring(not bloody likely but a guy can dream )
K_Kinnison
sorry havn't posted in a while. If you haven't gotten updates check my facebook page. Last week was all about the relationship drama. Last weekend i had to work, Saturday night i was talking to my Girlfriend and had a really long deep conversation. In fact I snapped at her and reacted badly. Mainly becasue it was something that should be said face to face, and i took what she said wrong. After i get done with work on Sunday i have a message on my phone that said she was breaking up with me. I called her back, we talked, some of it had to do with the stress at work of being laid off for 9 days and still trying to keep old deadlines. By tuesday she was back to herself and recieved some flowers that melted her heart. Friday she came down for a wine warehouse sale, they had about 40 wines for tasting. Then we did some more shopping and enjoyed a beef stew dinner she cooked. After dinner she had some Apple Pie Liquer and i had some Double wood Scotch while we got into our PJs and watched Clue then we talked and talked and talked made up, understood eachother better. Finally while we both were getting tired we started cuddling... and well... there wasn't much stopping us from going all the way Had Pecan pancakes for breakfast. Also curling season starts soon, first offical game is October 29th. Ice should be ready tonight for practice
edlib
Pinched the webbing between my thumb and index finger closing a piano lid today. Didn't hurt too much... But bled profusely. It was the highlight of the day so far.
Rogue15
not working tomorrow...going to bed and maybe trying the track again or i'll sleep in and bug my friend to go run 6 miles with me. got a new girl coworker, she's new to the area, she's pretty cute but i'm not about to make any moves, not that i don't want to, i just don't feel like it, mainly cause i don't want drama at work and i'm trying to stay focused on getting back in the army. then i get my friends saying 'oh man u should go out with her' etc but really, what's the ****ing point...? edlib
Survived the show... despite my infirmity. Got some kudos from the performers. That's OK... I guess. They're giving me a new MacBook Pro at work tomorrow... it will replace this 3-yr old Powerbook G4. Should be an improvement. I suppose I'm still feeling generally angsty about life. I'm finding it hard to get excited or fired-up about anything.

edlib
Ah... Well, where I work, you can get any OS you want... as long as it's Apple. It's OSX: "Leopard"... whatever that means. (All I know is: It's newer and cooler than the OS on my old machine... though I'm told it's not the latest and greatest.) I think it might be cooler if it were called "Leppard"... and the comp did nothing but play 80's hair-metal videos... but that might just be me. Keyan Farlander
Yeah, the newest one is called "Snow Leopard." It's pretty much the same crap, though.
