edlib
I think there are hacks to make it work... but I've never been bothered to try it. I figure now that I have a console, I'd better try to get good with a controller. Oh, well, Crack... it always works that way.
Wildstar
I'm worried...12 hours + passed w/o any of us posting. Thought I'd mention that my class ran a t-shirt sale at the reunion to start a scholarship fund for relatives (sons, daughters, nephews, and nieces) of class members that will be graduating from my high school. There were two designs available...I got one of both and will be wearing one of them to bowling tonight.
edlib
Steve Morse (probably my all-time favorite guitarist) playing tonight! Pretty psyched. (Too bad the rest of my day so far has been completely rotten...)

Rogue15
helped my friend move some furniture out of his house, then went to carbondale to check this hiking spot out. it only went 1 mile, we were disappointed. going with him to allentown tomorrow with him to move some more furniture. yesterday i sent my 360 out for repair. now begins the wait. i just finished carving a pumpkin, it looks pretty cool. K_Kinnison
@Zargon and IkeThere is a differance. Guys brag. Gentleman are coy. But in the end gals like the guys who brag because they have confidance that puts them above the rest who are just wannabe's. confidance is sexy. I seem to remember the local stallion Gunner bragging about his wife. And i have met Gunner in RL to know. And today is the day that I realised I am unhappy at my job, can do better, and my Girlfriend loves me. Not to mention get a wonderful Spagettii and meatball dinner made from scratch by a full bloodded italian (who is not my Girlfriend)
Rogue15
eh, what's there to brag about? i see no pics. just got back from the track...with good results. 17 minutes, 15 seconds. planning to cut a minute off that by the end of next week. i cut 24 seconds off my last time, which was 2 days ago, so i think i did pretty well. i hauled ass before and after each turn, giving a little 'rest' time on the turns. my shins hurt a little bit, but that's ok ,it's not as bad as running on pavement. edlib
The show was good. Really good. I wish every day at work was like that.
Keyan Farlander
I consider a work day a success if I can get through it plotting to murder less than five of my co-workers for their incompetence. There aren't too many of those days.

Keyan Farlander
sounds like you need a new job, keyan. Nah, my job is pretty great usually. It's just that my vast intellect makes everyone else seem stupid by comparison
Rogue15
Nah, my job is pretty great usually. It's just that my vast intellect makes everyone else seem stupid by comparison you're smart? who knew... j/k i hope things turn out better for you anyway. (go back to college, start your own resistance movement, etc?) my job got better, that assistant manager that was being weird knocked it off, she's still there though, but not as crazy as she was the first 2 days. though they keep ADDING more managers to the plate, this is the rank thingy in my store associate photo center technician photo center specialist (that's what i am) photo center department manager zone manager assistant manager shift manager (used to be called co-manager) store manager market manager it's quite easy to go up the ladder in walmart, but i don't want to make a career in retail. i like the department i'm in, i get to have fun and my job isn't "BORING" half the time, and i get along with most of my coworkers. got home late...went out and helped my friend move some furniture, it was harder to strap it all down than to physically move it. edlib
Bought a black iPod Classic 160 today. I guess it was time. Made the critical error of connecting it to to my work computer first... so now it is Mac-formatted. I guess I can reformat it... but half my music is already on it, and since my main iTunes library is at work, I guess I can live with it like this for now. I'm thinking about buying a Mac-Mini next month anyway... at which point it becomes a bit of a moot point.
Cmdr. Cracken
Pro-Tip: Dump the Ipod to the HDD. The Ipod is a giant USB Flash drive. None of the music files will be named in any sensible convention, but you can pull the raw .mp3 files.
edlib
Hmmm... I'm not sure I need to do that. All my music files are already duplicated on 2 external drives: One at work, and one at home. The iPod makes actually 3... but one I can actually listen off of without a computer.
Keyan Farlander
So iPods are flash drives now, not hard drives?
edlib
Well... all the models other than the Classic use flash memory. The Classic is still a spinning hard disk. I would have preferred one of the flash mem models... but they were all too small for me. I currently have over 140 GB of albums.

K_Kinnison
I thought I had plenty with a 30 GB MP3 player (Creative Zen Micro FTW). Of course I am also not one to buy a lot of CDs. Really cannot justify such an expense at this time. Going to Rock-Con this weekend. If you want updates and pics, check out my twitter (kimballkinnison) or facebook (KImball Kinnison) And finally I am going to be joining my Girlfriend for Thanksgiving and *Gasp* meet her parents
Keyan Farlander
I have a ridiculous number of CDs, but I just put a few at a time on my 1 GB Creative Muvo. One day I should rip all of them in full quality to hard disk, but that would take forever and take up a huge amount of space.
edlib
I happen to REALLY like music... what can I say? I'm also a notorious pack-rat... I save EVERYTHING. My brand-new 160GB iPod now has less than 5 gigs free. I'm sure I'll do some editing and pruning at some point... but for now, I shouldn't be bored on my commutes. I am now just another brain-dead, dead-eyed; slack-jawed, digital-media-connected commuter-zombie-lemming. The stock ear-buds are ****ty, though. Tried them today, and they sounded like crap and hurt like hell. That is a must-have upgrade ASAP.

Rogue15
got out to the track and back before it started raining this morning..17 minutes, 15 seconds again. 1.5 mile time was 12:55. I think next time i'll skip breakfast before i go out and see if that makes any difference. if it doesn't, i'll run the river road again.
Keyan Farlander
Just picked up Halo 3: ODST. I don't know why. Any of you fools interested in doing some co-op? I have never played a Halo game before, so I may suck initially, but I have been pwning n00bs for many a year, so I'm sure I will catch on fast.
