edlib
u guys ever had that before? Oh... only a whole bunch of times. My Myspace and Facebook friends lists are populated with them. They always get away... no matter what I try. I've decided, looking at my work schedule for the next couple of months, that it would be useless and foolish to try to get into anything right now. I'm working late almost every night next week... and the week after that... and the week after THAT... and so on... And most of my weekends are shot until summer break starts. Plus; there is the fact that the woman who mixes the shows on the nights I am not working is now about 4 or 5 months pregnant. So I foresee myself only getting MORE busy in the months to come... not less. So, I just don't see any way in the near future to make anything happen, even if by chance I found someone perfect... unless she is just really into meeting for breakfast. Keyan Farlander
So far, whenever one has gotten away I'm always glad of it later and wonder what the heck I was thinking in the first place. As for me, St. Raphael the Archangel is my only match-making service:

GUNNER
OK ,I need a new monitor. Wife suggested I get a PC monitor and see if I can get one that also will work as a TV. Not looking to get 1080P out of the TV as it is just for my garage set-up. But my monitor is an old 21inch CRT and the TV is an old 19 incher. So if I can get a 23 inch that will do both fairly well I will be happy. Any suggestions. I see NewEgg has a few... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889112020
edlib
I bought a 19" Dynex HD-TV from Best Buy that was crazy cheap, and yet looks pretty good... that also has a computer in. Short on features... but makes a sweet XBox monitor.
GUNNER
The one from Costco is $299 for a 23 inch and the newegg one is $249 with free shipping. I'm just glad my wife is even keen on the idea. I have been hinting around for months I would like to replace my 21inch CRT It takes up half my desk and the 22inch flat screen monitors were down to $129-169 for a few decent ones. Then she suggested why not get one that will do both TV and PC as the 19 inch TV was an open box I got for about $75. Well I know why it was so cheap. It had terrible stattic... So maybe kill 2 birds with one stone...

Admiral Odin
I do have one solution to the problem of the girl who got away, but they tend to get really angry if you shoot them in the leg - go figure (as with all my advice and or solutions I offer no counsel on how "wise" my ideas are). I'm looking forward to the end of tax season, then I can get out to the range and break in my new rifle, and hopefully zero in the scope on my 700. Advantage of being single is I have more money for my other hobbies, it just sucks that my hobbies tend to be expensive. Other then that my life continues the cycle of work - school - sleep - work - school -sleep, Monday - Friday. Saturday I just get to do work (ie Taxes), and Sunday I just get to do school work. Fun. K_Kinnison
one nice thing about being unattached is that I can go out every night, go home and crash... leave a mess, and no one complains (except maybe my cat) Now for todays edition of good news/bad news Bad news: Curling season is done for me Good news: GOt a new Cellphone. LG Rumor 2, state of the art Bad news: My curling team was one and done in the playoffs Good news: have a date tomorrow with a lady (not a man)

K_Kinnison
r15 must be an efficancy. Is it so small you have to leave the room to change your mind? Well, my date wasn't so bad. Only problem was she brought her 2 1/2 year old daughter, and after about 15 minutes of sitting down the daughter started getting restless. SO I suggest we go for a walk, and that seemed to be the ticket. My date started opening up and talking about herself a lot... which isn't a bad thing. She leads a very interesting life. She told a few funny stories that made me laugh, and her daughter started being cute.. telling us which direction to go. We walked for about a half hour until it started getting cold, and decided to head back to our cars and said good night. Only problem is she is in the process of divorcing her husband, and kicking him off her farm. Did I mention she has a 137 acre farm that has been in her family for almost 100 years? I could enjoy thatit

Rogue15
ex called, let the voice mail go on...apparently i ****ed up her life...damn.....she's gonna find someone to tell my parents i went to strip clubs, she's saying i made her sick, etc. and her ex found out where she lives so she's gonna have to move and needs that $600 to do so. she wants cash or money order in her p.o. box by friday or she's gonna have someone tell them. know what, i don't give a damn if they find out i'll just say 'yeah, i went to one just to see what it was, and no i didn't touch any of em or do anything with them!' i got the urge to put $600 monopoly money in an envelope, and put a fake return address on it. Cmdr. Cracken
Again, she has no legal grounds to demand the money back, no solid proof that you are in any agreement to pay her back, nor are you contractually obliged to do so. She's a ****in' nut. And so what, you went to a strip club? Meh, my dad is kinda disappointed that I haven't, but my dad's weird. Again, if she does bother you at work, you are within your legal rights to have her escorted off property, and if it escalates, restraining orders are on the table. If she finds your parents' home, DEFINITELY move to legal action and slam a restraining order on her if she stalks you there. Again, first time have her removed from the property, with warnings of restraining orders. Second time you don't **** around my friend. And make sure you are proactive so you 'rents can see you are old enough and smart enough to handle stuff on your own.
Rogue15
i'm moving out friday. she said she's being kicked out anyway, and needs the cash so she can look for another place. i told her what i did with the money when i was with her, if she didn't go psycho while i was out partying, i would still be there to pay rent. so she pretty much brought it on herself. she's ****ing terrified of my parents after they pulled their 'no vacancy' stunt and calling the cops last month. she's blaming them for her ex knowing where she lives. i'll be living right around the corner from her, so i'll probably know if something happens.
