To summarize: The movie sucks to incredible degrees compared to the games. If you have any love for a great story presented professionally, you will play both games. They are plain out awesome. You will hate the movie for how it raped the games. Though I suppose we can all be thankful Uwe Boll didn't make that movie.

I'll probably get it since I never got the chance to play the first two games, even though I wanted too.

Anyway, about Max Payne 3, I'm being quite optimistic about the direction the developers are taking the character Max in. And the dream sequence's in Max Payne 2 were just plain awesome. I hope they add some of those in the third one.

I mean, unlike some other adaptations, they really had material they could have used for this one. I liked the hallucinations and the NY atmosphere, but the storytelling could have used some work. As for the next game, there's not enough information just yet to have a proper opinion. I don't really like Max's new look, but I still hope the game will be interesting.
