Mustafar Planet Mod

That's descriptive...

No one's going to make this for you if you're so demanding and don't even try to explain what you want.

Yes, you should be more descreptive and this is a very hard task.........I mean TSL or K1 doesn't have modules and placeables like Mustafar. You will have to model and reskin the whole planet! Not to mention the sounds, characters, quests etc.

I'm already working on one. idk when it will be done, all I know is that it will be done.

Im thinking about using these pictures to start this off but what i will do is add 3 new modules and change the textures

Edit: here are some images of what i would like it to look like except i would add 3 more modules

1: Don't need to triple post, just edit your post

2: To stay in line with continuity, my mod is going to show what Mustafar was like in the KOTOR era. It was a lush, green world. If you want a planet similar to what Mustafar is during the Clone Wars, you aren't going to get it with my mod.

That's good thinking. Perhaps you should also have a volcano or two. And maybe some lava rivers. Just a suggestion. Sounds cool.

How do you figure that Mustafar would be a lush and arboreal planet 4000 years before the Battle of Yavin? Tatooine 4000 years ago was just as dry and arid as it was in Episode VI, are you using the idea from K1 where Bastila hinted that Tatooine may have had life on it many years ago? I don't mean to sound like I'm shooting your idea down because in fact it sounds rather interesting.

Mustafar page

Point of interest:

Once a lush green world, Mustafar was home to many Jedi Enclaves during the days of the Galactic Republic. It was here that they cultivated their abilities as well as training their students. One such Jedi Master was Chu-Gon Dar, an individual whose mastery of physical Force was unmatched...

something cool to do would be that it starts out lush and green when u arrive there and then a sith lords comes and attacks u and before u defeat him u can either choose to join him on the dark side or stay in the light side.If U stay in the light side mustafar will be lush and green but if you go to the darkside then a sith fleet attack a gas giant orbiting mustafar and it crashes into mustafar makin it a volcano

Hmmm... Your idea sounds interesting, but planets don't orbit planets. And how would a gas giant turn a lush world into a volcanic living hell? A gas giant would either: (A). Destroy Mustafar outright, or (B). Corrupt the atmosphere and turn it into a desolate wasteland.

Maybe if you said the Sith Lord threatened to overload the volcano's somehow, and flood the planet with lava and ash. That certainly sounds like something a Sith would do.

The magnetic fields of the gas giants are exactly what caused Mustafar to become all dead and covered in lava. Caused the planet to break apart. Now the idea of a Sith Lord threatening to cause an eruption in a volcano (possible Supervolacano) would be cool, but it wouldn't be enough to cover the whole planet in lava.

I thought about that, and I was thinking that it was a lush jungle world that had x amount of volcano's covering the surface. And the Sith Lord had units at a few key "hotpoints" that if tampered with, might cause chain reactions across the planet. I'll have to read more about Mustafar to understand what I'm talking about.

Ah okay. Sounds interesting, I never looked Mustafar up on wookiepedia so you'll have to forgive my ignorance :animelol:

It sounds like it was a mysterious place before the volcanoes popped up, I'll definitely be interested in seeing your final results on this pre-volcanic Mustafar mod :D.

@Mustafarians: the academy on Mustafar that the master of my mod built for Jedi in hiding is hidden in a dense forest on Mustafar, where no Mustafarians are.

@Lava Fleas: There is no lava on Mustafar's surface at this time in the galaxy, so there wouldn't be any lava fleas

So what part of this Mod is going to remind gamers that they are on Mustafar rather than a Naboo jungle version of Dantooine.
Well I'd assume that the people would call it Mustafar.... And if it gets turned into a volcanic mess during the mod, then I think it would be obvious...

Yup, the Dantooine river is an interesting idea.

Anyway, there is discussion about the fate of the once lush green Mustafar, but we don't know what's the main story of your mod. If you could give us a hint, we could know if that cataclism is needed to fit in the plot or is not. It would be rather interesting to see such a hell conversion, though.

As the wookieepedia says:

Mustafar was a very young and volatile world, torn apart by opposing gravitational forces of the gas giants Jestefad and Lefrani, with the former being the closer of the two. (....)

Once a lush green world, Mustafar was home to many Jedi Enclaves during the days of the Galactic Republic. (...) when the Sith became powerful, they wished to exterminate the Jedi, and so a climactic battle took place on the planet. This battle was so intense that one of the nearby gas giants was pulled into its current location by the Force, starting the gravitational tug-of-war. The environmental hazards caused by this tug-of-war forced the Jedi to abandon their temples on the planet.

As I see this, there are two ways to do this: following canon or not doing so. Anyway, a cataclism caused by the aproximation of a giant gas and the displacement of Mustafar it's nice to imagine but I don't see how put that into the game.

By the other side, volcanoes could be cool to see, but anyone knows how to create that?

I think the whole volcanic Mustafar, despite being cool, it's hard work to do. So, where is this going?

Good luck and good work!
