Not to worry, there is a little alternative in the beta testing stage called TSLRCM by Stoney, Zbyl, SwFan28, and jinger that will be available ASAP. So if TSLRP never happens, you'll still have TSLRCM and the only pieces of cut content that TSLRP has and TSLRCM does not have are related to the GenoHaradan. That will be restored in a separate mod. So not to worry, the dream of the complete TSL experience is coming very soon to KFiles.

No, you don't. Harping about mod delays is both futile and immature. Modders make mods in their spare time usually around very full lives. If they finish, it's fantastic. If they don't, well, that's the breaks. Sometimes making a living actually takes precedence over modding.

I agree with Del_Boy on this, I understand about modding being in your spare time believe me, but they started this project back on April 3rd, 2005 and it is now August 14th, 2009. It's been in beta stage for awhile, now, but the lack of promised updates is down right negligent, figuratively speaking it is an unlicensed mod, toward the fans waiting for it.

This is one of those situations that after four plus years of development part of the reason why it's moving slow is that the Team Gizka guys are just sick of modding and that leads to getting it down slower than the person waiting to play it hopes. That's just the reality of a team who takes on a big project. Most teams like this never succeed.

 

Team Gizka has gotten further than most teams in terms of completion on a big project like this. So I commend them on that, but again reality sinks in and you're putting so many hours into something that you're not getting paid to do. You're doing it on your spare time and it will get boring. Then you lose your drive, your will to do this. I bet they're all just sick of this by now.

The point is that there is another project in the works, now; one that seems to be near completion or at least close to the release of a public beta.

 

The best thing to do with TSLRP is to forget about it. If it ever gets completed and released, well, great. If not, no big deal, you'll have TSLRCM.

You can't actually be "sorry" here since you are going out of your way to post an obvious 'rant' thread that doesn't belong here you seem to be just asking to be banned, IMHO. Which is silly because we have nothing to do with that mod here.

 

Perhaps you need to release your ire onto the actual people in Team Gizka, or go create a blog somewhere about them, but this topic and any and all posts about it are not allowed here... period.
