Jae Onasi Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Which are your favorites? What parts of the updates suck? BTW, if you want to sign up to test future updates, the link is here.
Lynk Former Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 VidZone for PS3 is excellent. Better than the whole Facebook and twitter trend. I don't think we get last.fm for 360 down here in Australia so I don' know how that's like, but all I know is that VidZone is a great addition to the PS3.
jrrtoken Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Elaborate on the concept of the "updates" and the application of thereof towards a "console". Surely, these "future updates" are a watershed in QA that has never been seen by the eyes of man!
Jeff Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 I think the twitter and facebook apps for 360 are useless, but I am enjoying the last.fm one. A twitter app would be much more useful on DSi (or PSP).
swphreak Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 XBox 360 All the Community stuff is pointless. Replacing Video Marketplace with Zune Videos sucks donkey balls. They even changed the Video Library under to Zune Video. Just now, I tried to access my downloaded videos, but I got an error message saying Zune Marketplace was unavailable. WTF is that? And now it takes twice as many selections to get where I want to go and download stuff. Worst. Dashboard Update. Ever. PS3 Eh. I don't really use all the other features and stuff. and can't really comment on it. There seems to be some problems keeping controllers / BD Remotes synced. It would be nice if they fixed that.
Lynk Former Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Never had any syncing problems with my PS3.
Drunkside Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Heh to tell the thruth i have never (NEVER) updated my xbox360. And i have the ancient one with 12 gb bandwidth
leXX Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I think Twitter and Facebook on 360 are completely useless, but I'm loving the Sky Player. Having been a Sky subcriber for many years and not having to pay to watch movies and shows on demand from a huge selection is very cool. I could of used it on PC before, but I never bothered with it as I prefer to watch them on the TV. Last.fm on 360 is okay too, but I haven't used it that much. Loving BBC iPlayer on the PS3, and that's about it.
swphreak Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 Never had any syncing problems with my PS3. Do you have the Slim version? From what I've read, it seems to be affecting Slims since the latest firmware update.
