Tangster
Another Bastila robe mod This one happens to show legs, cleavage and back, with a nice shiny gold trim and armour plate on various bits. This has been updated, so see the bottom of the post, a Lucasfiles/KOTORfiles update will arrive...whenever it arrives. This is now on version 1.2-see bottom of post. This is yet another mod for bastila's base clothing(although you could rename it to work as a skin with other Bastila mods like svösh's or ChAiNz's mods. This took a fair few hours in photoshop, and lookign through the holowan labs to figure out how to get things shiny. I have no problems with you using the texture in your own mods, but if you release it or edit it then please credit me. To Install: Copy appearance.2da and p_bastillabb01 to your KOTOR override folder. UPDATE: Just use the TSLPatcher, bear in mind that this will replace any mods already applied to Bastila's default clothes. HOWEVER: I use an edited appearance.2da file in this mod. As such if you already have a mod that uses a modified appearance.2da file you'll need to do some edits to the file. You will need KotorTool for the edit, you can download it here - http://kotortool.starwarsknights.com/ 1) Open your appearance.2da file 2) Find the line that says Party_NPC_Bastila 3) Scroll to the right until you see the column labeled envmap. 4) Change "Default" to "CM_Baremetal" and save to you override folder Have fun with the rather revealing and shiny new clothes Bastila now has. To Uninstall: Just delete the files. *********************************************************** Thanks go to: - svösh for his brilliant tutorial on making things shiny in KOTOR. -ChAiNz for inspiring the reskin with his and svösh's great revelation mod. - Holowan Laboratories for the modding info. http://www.lucasforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=324 - Fred Tetra for developing the outstanding KOTOR tool program. http://kotortool.home.comcast.net/index.html -The guys and gals at Adobe for developing the great kit that is Photoshop. http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/photoshop/ -Whoever designed Bastila, everyone's favorite pre-film Star Wars character. ************************************************************ This Mod is not supported by LucasArts or Bioware. Added a TSLPatcher and a trouser/pants version. Just select between the 2 when you launch the patcher. Lord of Hunger
Excellent, but it'd be better if you had a version with the TSLPatcher. Far more convenient. Keep up the excellent skins!
vanir
Agree with LoH here, Patcher version for a basic 2da edit is no trouble at all, the Patcher comes with an excellent GUI utility that makes 2da edits a dream, it does it all for you and then the Patcher installs the mod for the user. Stoffe is a genius. Great skin, I really like it except for a personal taste. I love the top half but the bare legs I think are too much. To me, the aristocratic but sexual Bastila would look great with some cleavage and bare back (with shiny bits) for style, but covered legs for pragmatism and just a hint of modesty, or at least pretending to be only concerned with being a Jedi. The bare legs give the look of shorts for the lower portion, which are more of a guy thing than a girl thing. You know women, it's either g-string, skirt/miniskirt or tight pants. Shorts is when they're kinda trying to say something like "I'm a daddy's girl and just one of the boys" which Bastila definitely isn't really, not under the surface. She's a "daddy's girl" in the Princess sense, which is well even more sexy I think. So either a proper skirt (major model change) or tight pants would do it, with the revealing sections in the upper body, I think. The bottom I'd leave as original and just add the shiny bits. Someone like Juhani would wear shorts, or Mission (at least until she got older, then she'd switch to a skirt or a g-string, or try to play a serious side like Bastila and go for tight pants). Tangster
Thanks for the suggestions, I've now added a TSLPatcher to the update and a choice of with tight pants or the original shorts.

Tangster
This is very good but is there not as a mod has almost exactly the same? Probably. There's quite a few Bastila mods, and I did take inspiration from the revelation robes mod by ChAiNz and svösh.
Lord of Hunger
Definitely downloading this, considering that you also added a version with the Patcher and pants. 10/10, considering the mod quality and customer service.

Tangster
Sorry people, but if you like the trouser version you need to redownload the updated version since I nerfed the alpha in the tga file(I think it'll end up looking like you installed shorts) Fixed version here(and also in the 1st post Aslo I've updated to add darkside versions. Acleacius
Thanks for your work on this excellent mod. I should be able to drop the p_bastilabb01.tga in TSL. Edit "envmap=CM_Baremetal" for Bastila. This would probably work, correct? If I wanted this to be the base clothing for the PC (or other npc) is the "modela" column the correct and only one I need to edit for the PC to "P_BastilaBA" ? Thanks for any tips or help. Rtas Vadum
Thanks for your work on this excellent mod. I should be able to drop the p_bastilabb01.tga in TSL. If I wanted this to be the base clothing for the PC (or other npc) is the "modela" column the correct and only one I need to edit for the PC to "P_BastilaBA" ? Thanks for any tips or help. You'll actually want the "ModelB" column(along with TexB). The the A columns is for the underwear model/texture. But Bastila's clothing model is "P_BastilaBB", just like the texture. Though you'll want to name the texture differently, unless you want it for both Bastila and yourself. For the shader(the shine), you'll want to use a .txi file, by using notepad(by changing the 'Save As Type' to All, then inputing .txi at the end of the filename - the same as the texture). You'll want this in the file: envmaptexture CM_Baremetal for both Bastila's file, and the one for your PC, if you named your PC's differently. You might need to end up editing up to three lines, if you want it for only one PC head(as there is one line each for the Soldier, Scout and Scoundrel classes). Acleacius
Thanks Rtas Vadum, though not sure I understand. To make a .txi file I rename a copy of the .tga with Notepad and then "Save As" .txi? When I tried this it made the game crash, heh. I got the Dark Shorts working for the most part but it's not right, though not sure what's wrong, atm. It's really one of the few times, seen female skin in the shoulder area and looks kind of cool, but too bulky in the neck area. I may keep it broken even if learning how to fix it properly. So if you named it P_BastilaPC01, you'd name the txi the same, i.e P_BastiliaPC01.txi
