Yes, ladies, gentlemen, both, other, and none, it's that time of the year again, and while Pavlos can't be here tonight owing to a tragic surfeit of frogs, it gives me great pleasure to announce to you tonight the StarWarsKnights.com 2009 Spud of the Year Competition!

(Insert cheesy canned applause and horrid music here.)

The nominations have now closed, and boy, what a line-up do we have for you! After nearly seven years, the KotOR modding community is still going strong, that's for sure! In the KotOR I section, the 2009 entrants are:

Brotherhood of Shadow: Solomon's Revenge by Silveredge9

Revan's Flowing Cape and Belt 1.0 by SithSpecter

Bastila's Revealing Gold Trimmed Robes by Tangster

Combat Suit Uniforms for Various Organizations by redrob41

HK-47 - Assassin Droid by Drewton

Revenge of the Sith Clone Armors by -DK-, MarcusLeCoy, Dark_Cuillere, Ruku, SoM3, BryanWee, and VarsityPuppet.

Yinchorr Dueling Sword by SithSpecter

Visual Enhancement Mod 2009 Final by Xarwarz

K1 Force Pack 2.0 by Star Admiral

K1 Party Portrait Pack by Marius Fett

Darth Malak - Dark Lord of the Sith by Drewton was not entered into the voting since it was already entered into the 2008 Mod of the Year competition and was released in that year.

Evidently Pavlos and I made a mistake and wrote the rubrics in Akkadian cuneiform again by mistake, which explains why some of you didn't pay any attention to them.

The voting is now open, so get at it. Votes will close in one week on Tuesday,February 2nd 2010.

And may the best mod win!

For me it's an extremely tough choice between BOSSR and Revan's Flowing Cape and Belt. Both are staggering feats of KOTOR modding, and we're (to my understanding) a complete headache to build for their respective designers.

I went with the Flowing Cape; mainly as due the inane boredom Sithspectre must of had to endure making endless frames my 2 cents...

It was a tough decision between Revan's Flowing Cape and Belt and BOS:SR. If I could have voted for both, I would have. But I ended up voting for the Revan mod because of the utter persistence to complete the mod and continue to improve it as well. Not many people would have taken on such a project, let alone finish it.

I know this suggestion is late, but you probably could've made two separate polls, one for BOSSR vs RFC&B, and one for all the others as runners up. I know that my own little mod hasn't got a hope against those two juggernaughts (but I'm ok with that, 'cause they deserve their kudos :))
