Jae Onasi Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 I think SW Air messed with the wrong overweight guy.
True_Avery Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Kevin Smith? He's a little big, but damn its not like he's a 3 seater.
jrrtoken Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Airlines should buy cargo jets and borrow slave-ship seating arrangements of old and institute that instead of the narrow, plastic seats. Cheaper, more efficient, and it's not too different from what people already experience in-flight.

Shem Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 This isn't encouraging for people like Roseanne Barr.
The_Catto Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Pretty unfair indeed! (Wow, what a quick, somewhat useless reply.) -(Wow, what an understatement) PS: Kevin Smith is cool. I'd be pretty annoyed as well if I got told to vacate the plane because of my weight.
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 kevin smith needs a pair of ****ing pants he's fat enough as it is he doesn't need jorts so big you could fit a trash can in a single leg to make him look fatter
The_Catto Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Compared to the rest yeah. It's definitely the shorts that makes his legs look bigger than what they actually are I think. And the jumpers. In fact ... he should wear clothes that aren't so damn daggy! That's why he looks bigger I reckon. Clothes have a major impact on the size of appearance sometimes.
El Sitherino Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 The thing is, even I have a difficult time fitting in airplane seats. My arms spill over into the neighboring chairs and my knees have to be tucked into my chest. I'm also curious why they offered him a second flight if he was "too fat" for the first one...
True_Avery Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 http://www.smodcast.com/ His podcast site in which he talks about the experience, and in the next one he talks about a woman who is also pulled to the side and called overweight by Southwest. Sounds really boring, but I found it very enlightening about Southwest and their services.
Darth Avlectus Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 Ah hell, SouthWest. Such bull$***. Why don't they reject a friend of mine who has a freaking hard time fitting his 6'10", 250 lbs. body in one of their funky seats? Anyway...mr "silent bob" is too fat? I rode next to some woman probably about the same size as him last year? WTF? Then again that was American Airlines--who isn't much better in my opinion. But still, southwest is always losing luggage and all that. Now this? I may crack fat jokes, but I crack skinny jokes just the same. Hot Damn.
Blix Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Absolutely ridiculous. I've seen people much fatter than him boarding/departing airplanes (one lady looked to be about 300 or so lbs) without a problem. It just sounds like some bitchy flight-attendants need to be fired, and maybe a management reform is needed since they (SW Airlines) allowed this incident to happen in the first place.
Darth Avlectus Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 How would Cartman feel about this? ...Nevermind...
