Tommycat
Okay, I finally decided to give it another shot(watched a few episodes on on-demand). I think I'm convinced now that the bad things about TCW came about because of Ashoka. Without her the show seems much better. Maybe I'll go and watch back episodes. mimartin
Who is the Ashoka for which you speak? They seem to have toned down Ahsoka during season one. I don’t mean I accept her as Anakin’s Padawan, but even a few episodes that featured her have been tolerable (the two that come to mind are “Brain Invaders” and “Lightsaber Lost.”)
Alexrd
and “Lightsaber Lost.”) Can't say I agree with that one. But yes, even in Season 1 she was toned down. There are even some good episodes with her on that season.

mimartin
Yes, but her intolerability was used as part of the story, so to me it worked for the story in that episode.

Prime
In my review of the original movie screening of TCW I mention I outright loathed Ahsoka both for how she acted and how she didn't fit the established story. I don't really mind at all how. They've really toned down the teen-rage-against-authority and made her a more well rounded character.
Adavardes
I was REALLY confused for a second, but now that I know how he's coming back, that's awesome. I'm not a huge fan of TCW, and this kind of conflicts entirely with Obi-Wan's reaction at the end of Episode III to hearing that Qui-Gon had come back from death, but I've learned to just smile and pretend that there's nothing sacred in Star Wars anymore. Prime
Well, have to see the last episode of this arc to really see if that is true or not...

Prime
Its amazing how he make such lines as "stay in that cockpit" sound completely natural and logical. Too bad he was only in one SW film...
Alexrd
I had hope that he would also record his lines for the Blu-ray of RotS, but the commentary of "Overlords" made it sound like he was specifically asked to reprise his role for the series alone. But we never know...

Prime
Watching Overlords on SW dot com. I think Lucas has lost his marbles.Well this whole trilogy arc was strange, but I think we did learn more about how the Force works. To bad for the characters it seems kind of throwaway... adamqd
I was gonna make a thread for this, but figured there isn't that much that can be discussed... Revan and Darth Bane were designed and ready to be in this story arc until the last minute http://www.starwars.com/theclonewars/?video=v001225#vid Thank god they Weren't hehe. mimartin
Thank god they Weren't hehe.I wished they would have included them. They could have been set on the brother’s shoulder and gave him advice. Only problem didn't George forget that he made the redemption of Revan canon? deathdisco
I don't think the Sith can become Force ghosts outside of the EU. "You can't win, Darth. If my blade finds it's mark, you will cease to exist. If you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine." I think this is why it was eventually pulled. Alexrd
Thats why I didn't want Him in it Me neither, but partially because in my opinion a Sith shoudn't/can't have the ability to become Force Ghosts. I think this is why it was eventually pulled. Also because: The ultimate goal of the Sith, yet they can never achieve it; it comes only through the release of self, not the exaltation of self. It comes through compassion, not greed. Love is the answer to the darkness.

Alexrd
Chewie is back... April 1 Incredible how they got Chewie's face like in the OT. Wonder why they did it different in RotS...
Q
Maybe for RotS they tried to "improve" Chewie's look like they did Yoda's in TPM, and with similar results? But, yeah, TCW Chewie looks like Chewie. I wonder when Netflix will have this show available for streaming?
